Mae myrdd o ryfeddodau
    yn rhagluniaethau Duw,
Mae'r gorch'wyliaethau chwerwa'
    yn dda i Sion wiw:
  Olwynion mewn olwynion
      sy'n rhoi eu tro i ben,
  I ddwyn y saint o'u trafferth,
      'nol arfaeth nefoedd wen.

Mae'r iachawdwriaeth rasol
    a drefnodd Tri yn Un,
Yn llawn o ryfeddodau,
    uwchlaw amgyffred dyn;
  Yn ffrydiau hon ni nofiwn
      i mewn i'r gwynfyd pur,
  I ganu byth yn ddiau
      am glwyfau'r hoelion dur.

There is a myriad of wonders
    in the providence of God,
The bitterest tasks are
    good for worthy Zion:
  Wheels within wheels
      are bringing their turn to fulfilment,
  To bring the saints out of their trouble,
      according to the purposes of bright heaven.

The gracious salvation which
    the Three in One arranged, is
Full of wonders,
    above the grasp of man;
  In these streams let us swim
      into the pure paradise,
  To sing forever unceasingly
      about the wounds of the steel nails.
