6th Edition Changes
I have heard more about 6th edition changes than most people, so I am going to try and summerize it for everyone. Here goes:

1). No Interrupts. This is true. Counterspell and all the laces will be played as instants now and will have little affect on gameplay. It will only change the way batches of effects are resolved.

2). No Mana Pool. This is not true. The mana pool will still be around. That means you can still tap the mountains before you sacrafice them to a Fireblast.

3.) No Damage Prevention. This is true, but again will have little affect on Magic. You can still use the CoP's and Healing Salves like you always would, but as soon as your life total hits 0, you are dead. That doesn't mean you can't respond, but if you tap out to cast Healing Salve, and you are hit with a Lightning Bolt that sends your life to 0 or less, you die.

4). Trample is gone because it confused new players. I don't find this too big of a deal. Trample was rarely used in tournament play anyway, but WotC's reasons for getting rid of it were wrong. New players had trouble understanding it, so instead of explaining it more clearly, they elected to eliminate it.

5.) Cards that are rumored not be reprinted include Sylvan Library, Birds of Paradise, Shivan Dragon, and Hammer of Bogardan.
