History: Arazzo was captain of the guards at a caravan serving a small merchant house of Balic, House Amketch, when House Shom of Nibenay tried to use the caravan to smuggle shaqat beetles. The shaqat beetles were the product of a defiler named Tethrades, and when Arazzo discovered the beetle trade, the defiler launched a Shom raid on the Amketch caravan to destroy the half-elf. However, Arazzo, bruised and beaten, was rescued by a band of adventurers hired as extra help on the caravan. With Cabal and the rest of the adventuring party, Arazzo set after the stolen caravan and eventually wound up in Kalidnay. During the dramatic battle the defiler opened a secret passage and ran to top of the ziggurat. Threatening to drop the canister to the ground below (and hence releasing the parasites which would make psionics unusable for quite some time), Tethrades held Arazzo at bay. Then Cabal appeared and fired his crossbow, sending the defiler over the edge. Pummeling to the ground below, Tethrades and the canister struck against the walls of the ziggurat several times before the impact with the sand. The party rushed down the inside of the ziggurat. When they emerged they were relieved to find the canister battered and bulky, but intact. However, Tethrades was nowhere to be seen.

Arazzo joined the adventuring party and after months of travelling they came to Nibenay, just before the great battle between the Shadow-King and the Zwuun. In a meeting between the templars, the Veiled Alliance and Temniya Shom it was decided an expedition was to be sent into the Naggaramakam, Nibenay's walled sanctum in the center of the city. Seeing this as a chance of revenge upon Arazzo and the other adventurers, the Shom representative suggested they were to conduct the dangerous task. The party agreed and eventually found the king locked in a trance combating the Zwuun. With the aid of the priest child Siemhouk, the Zwuun was defeated and Nibenay was released from its grip. As a reward Arazzo and Cabal became heroes of the city and all the others received treasures both magical and mundane. Cabal occasionally is called in to conduct business on Nibenay's behalf, while Arazzo serves loyally as the Warlord of Nibenay. Arazzo is one of the most popular characters in the city, and this keeps the old enemies of House Shom at bay.
