Francis Marion Wright, well known farmer, passed away Sunday morning at 4:45 o'clock at the Witham Hospital, where he had been ill with pneumonia for the past five weeks. Mr. Wright was born in Tyler County, West Virginia, and was 73 years old at the time of his death. He was the son of David T. and Sarah (Prickett) Wright. He was married on January 12, 1904 to Maude Evalina Stultz, who survives. He leaves besides the widow, two children, Mrs. Geneva Adams of Indianapolis, and Harold Wright of near Whitestown, and one grandson, Ernest Harold Adams. Other survivors are two brothers, Sidney Wright of near Whitestown, and Jacob Wright of New Augusta, one sister, Mrs Lovina Hoskins of Muncie and a half-sister, Mrs. Doris McIntyre of Oklahoma. Mr. Wright was a highly respected citizen of this community and had resided on his farm near Whitestown for 53 years. His wife has been an invalid for the past several years. Funeral services were held at the Little Eagle Church, Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Orville Woody officiating. Burial was in Little Eagle Cemetery.
