The Beanie Gazette Counterfeit Alert

BEWARE OF COUNTERFEITS!!

You can receive a mini magazine with pictures of counterfeits in the November issue of Mary Beth's Beanie World Monthly magazine.
Here are some things to remember when you are buying Beanies:
1. Look at the fabric, sometimes it could seem to rough or even the wrong color.
2. Look at the size and shape, the head may seem too large or small.
3. Look at the swing and tush tags, check the coloring on the front of the tag.
Check the type face on the inside, is it correct, does it look smeared?
4. Make sure the yellow and red colors don't appear mutted or dingy.

Here is a list of some Beanie Babies that have had reported counterfeit problems, Bronty, Bruno, Bubbles, Chilly, Christmas Teddy, Chops, erin, Fetch, Flash, Fortune, Garcia, Goldie, Grunt, Humphrey, Kiwi, Kuku, Lefty, Libearty, Maple, Royal Blue Peanut, Peking, Princess, Quackers (wingless), Radar, Righty, Smoochy, Splash, Spooky, Tabasco, Old Face Teddy, Trap, Valentino, Old Face, Violet Teddy, All Black Zip and the Employee Christmas Violet New Face Teddy.
