Fallen

God I have fallen away from your light Why do I do this, I don't understand The same struggles, I continue to fight And each time I fall from your loving hand Even with knowledge of your saving grace I stay away from where I need to be When I'm away you shouldn't see my face And my own shame makes a fool out of me I KNOW you love me despite my downfall But I also know that I have hurt you And my sin is a sin, big or small Why do I do things I do not want to And yet, STAYING away I hurt you more But on your wings I only WISH to soar
