James Van der Beek was Born March 8th, 1977, in Cheshire, CN. (Making him 21)
Has been acting since he was 13.
Hates auditions.
Suffered a mild concussion from football, and auditioned for school play for Grease and won the role for Danny Zuko, which is what got James interested in acting.

First went to a public school, the attended a private school- Cheshire Academy. Then, got an academic scholarship to Drew University in New Jersey. Majored in English, and minored in Sociology.
If he wasn't an actor he'd be a English Teacher (he can come teach me English anytime--I need help...really badly)
His favorite TV show is the Wonder Years
