"A Not so Crystal Clear Destiny"
What if Sailor Moon had been kidnapped and brain washed by the Negaverse instead of Tuxedo Mask? What would Darien have done? Who would take over as the leader of the Sailor Scouts? How would Serena's family and other friends react to her disappearance? These are just a few of the questions that I intend to answer in this story of what if.

The Scouts and their feline guardians could do nothing but stare at Princess Venus and wonder what happened to make her transform. They also marveled at how different she looked. She not only looked regal, but more mature by at least three years.
Venus just stood quietly with a peaceful look upon her face. Then she looked to Darien who was sitting by himself trying to assess the whole situation. Venus walked over to him and placed her hand on his shoulder.
"It will all be alright," she asured him, "We will recover Princess Serena, but unitl then I must take her place and you must be strong"
Darien looked into her eyes so full of compassion. He almost felt as if every burden that he had had been lifted. "I will," he said with confidence. "Thank you."
Venus offered him a friendly smile and helped him to his feet. She then turned around to address the group. "I guess you guys are wondering how this happened, huh?"
It was Artemis who spoke first, "Yes, Venus, how did this happen?" Artemis had previously thought that he knew everything about her.
Venus giggled, "Oh, Artemis, my dear friend. I have also regained some memories of my past. Back on the Moon me and Serena were the best of friends, almost like sisters. Well, one day she and I were sitting together talikng about girl stuff."
Venus paused, looked at Darien, and blushed a little before she continued. "Anyways, we decided to make ourselves sisters. You know how you've heard of people pricking their fingers and then rubbing their blood with someone else's to become blood brothers or sisters? Well, that's what we did. And now. somehow, her powers have transfered to me."
"That makes sense," Mercury replied. "You have some of Serena's blood in your veins. Hence, it would only make sense that you receive her power in her absense.
"I guess so," said Venus. "It does make sense. I suppose it kicked in because I knew that Sailor Moon could no longer lead us.
"All that aside, weren't we talking anout dinner before Malachite so rudely interupted us?" asked Mars.
"Come to think about it," began Jupiter, "I think we were."
"I could still go for that," Venus giggled.
"How about it, Darien?" Mercury asked.
"No, no it's alright. I'll take a rain check though. I really need to get home," Darien rambled; trying to think of any excuse to just be alone.
"Oh, okay," Mercury said smiling. "Maybe some other time."

Mercury led the other Scouts and Darien from the tower in silence. Darien thought thay he would never be as thankful as he was at the moment for stillness.
"Serena," he thought, "I hope that you are safe and well. I promise you that I'll rescue you soon so that we can be together like we were meant to be."
Finally outside, they all inhaled deeply; glad to be out of the stuffy tower.
"I'll see you guys around," Darien said as he turned to walk away.
The Scouts just watched him walk away for none of them knew what to say.

HA, ha, ha!!! Finally done with Part 6. And believe it or not I did it in what little spare time I have and not after work for a change. Ok, alright, you got me. I wrote most of it at school when I was bored. So I'm not totally like Sailor Mercury in that aspect. So sue me, SHEESH! Just kidding. Anyways, keep mw posted about what you think.
