Jill was born December 11th in 1967 and died May 25th, 1997.

She had 3 loving parents, a younger brother and me -- her older sister.
She also left behind all her grandparents and a niece and
nephew -- my children; her god-children. They were not quite
5 years old (yes, twins) at the time of her death but, happily, they
still remember her and talk about her quite often.

Jill was a bright light in many peoples' lives and is
very sorely missed by all who knew and loved her....
She was not yet 30 years old when she died.

I Did Not Die...

Don't stand beside my grave and weep,
For I'm not there, I do not sleep,
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond's glint on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.

When you awaken in morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
of quiet birds in circle flight,
I am soft stars that shine at night,
Don't stand beside my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.

Special Note:

There is a lilac bush (Jill's favorite) planted in [a public park] in
Riverton, Wyoming, in Jill's memory. It will soon include a memorial
plaque. If you're ever in Riverton, please stop in to see Jill's Lilacs!
(I'll post a picture of it here, when I get one!)
