Prophetic Word For the Coming Year of 2000

The Lord says to His church:

The time of separation is ending and the time of preparation is coming upon us. Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Prepare the evening sacrifice. Prepare your hearts.
There has been much reshuffling and reallocation and reorientation that has taken place in the earthly realm and in the spiritual realm. As the final adjustments are made in the separation and the sifting of all that can be shaken many shall look around and look about and they shall recognize the change that has occurred in their natural relationships and in their spiritual relationships.
They will now begin to reach out and familiarize themselves with that which heretofore has been unfamiliar to them. In this reaching out there are many things and many areas that are being prepared at this time. You have seen the earthquakes and the mighty shakings that have occurred in many areas. This earthly shaking has been accompanied by a spiritual shaking. Many things have changed and there have been casualties.
Now the time for preparation is at hand. Prepare ye the way of the Lord. Prepare the evening sacrifice. Prepare your hearts. And so you must prepare yourselves for those things that have been written for your guidance and for your instruction so that you would know that the hand of your God is stretched out in great power. As you prepare yourselves for all that is to occur and you continue to be guided and instructed by My word and by My Spirit many shall come into the fullness of the union that they now find themselves in, in the natural realm and in the spiritual realm. Others must continue the preparation process with some effort on their part.
Those who do not remain in My word will not receive from My Spirit that which is needed to finalize their preparation. For those who base their efforts on other than My word there will be much confusion which will result in much error. For there can be no preparation that is attempted and is not founded upon the truth of My word. And so their shakings and siftings will continue. And the shakings and siftings of those in the world will continue.
Others of you who have struggled and struggled and struggled during this time of separation, this time of sifting that is passing, will now begin to see past those things in the natural which have confused you and you shall see with your spiritual eyes the things that have been formed about you. You will recognize the alliances, you will see the connections. You will understand the potential of the fellowship that lies before you and you will see past the natural barriers into the fullness of My plan for you and those with whom you now have to do. For there is no error in My economy. The error lies in the desires of the flesh which run contrary to that for which I have separated you and am now preparing you.
Let him who has ears to hear, hear what I have said. For in this time of preparation I shall withhold no good thing from you and I shall bestow upon you the fullness of My Spirit and I shall open up the windows of heaven and bless those who desire this time of preparation according to My will and My plan and My power.
Think not that the things that you have prepared that are of your flesh will prosper. Think not the things that you have wrought in your own kingdom shall prosper. Think not that those things you have prayed for which are contrary to My will shall prosper.
For I have brought about a time of preparation that you may prepare the way of the Lord, that you may prepare the evening sacrifice, that you may prepare your hearts for the fullness of all that I have for those who are obedient unto My word, unto My Spirit and unto My will. Great shall be the blessings that I continue to pour out upon those whose preparation is of Me, says the Lord.

The Lord gave me Psalm 20 for the year 2000.
Psalm 20:
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David
       1 The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
       2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, Lord: let the king hear us when we call.

The themes of preparation are repeated three times in the word from the Lord for the year 2000.

Prepare Ye The Way of The Lord

Isaiah 40:3-5:
3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
5 And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
Matthew 3:1-3:
1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Mark 1:3:
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Luke 3:4-6:
4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
       5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
Malachi 2:17-3:5:
17 Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
Chapter 3:
1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers’ soap:
3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

Comment:

There are many in the wilderness (and caves and deserts) who have been crying out for the Lord to come. These prophetic/watchman/intercessory/worshipping saints have prayed for a straight way for the Lord, valleys brought up, mountains and hills made low, the crooked and rough places to be made straight and smooth. That the glory of God be revealed to the whole world, because God has written and prophesied that it will happen.
They have been praying and interceding for repentance, and that the Lord would come to His temple, the saints, the living stones. That He would purify us, as gold and silver, that we would present ourselves to Him in righteousness. Knowing that judgement starts in the household of God, they have prayed the saints would offer themselves as living sacrifices to their Lord. Knowing that our God will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers, the false swearers, and those that oppress the hireling in his wages, and oppress the widow, the fatherless and the stranger because they don’t fear God

Prepare the Evening Sacrifice

Excerpted from Holman’s Bible Dictionary

Leviticus 1-7 gives the most detailed description of Israel’s sacrificial system, including five types of sacrifices. The sacrifices and offerings that were brought by the people were to be the physical expression of their inward devotion.
       1. Burnt offering (olah). The burnt offering was offered both in the morning and in the evening, as well as on special days such as the sabbath, the new moon, and the yearly feasts (Num. 28-29; 2 Kings 16:15; 2 Chron. 2:4; 31:3; Ezra 3:3-6). Rituals performed after childbirth (Lev. 12:6-8), for an unclean discharge (Lev. 15:14-15) or hemorrhage (Lev. 15:29-30), or after a person who was keeping a Nazirite vow was defiled (Num. 6:10-11) required a burnt offering, as well as a sin offering.
The animal for this sacrifice could be a young bull, lamb, goat, turtledove, or young pigeon; but it had to be a perfect and complete specimen. The type of animal chosen for this sacrifice seems to be dependent on the offerer’s financial ability. The one bringing the offering was to lay a hand upon the animal so as to identify that the animal was taking the person’s place and then to kill it. The priest then collected the blood and sprinkled it around the altar and the sanctuary, and the worshiper cut up and skinned the animal. If a bird was brought, the priest killed it. After the priest arranged the various parts on the altar, the entire animal was burned as a sacrifice. The only portion that remained was the hide, and the priest received it (Lev. 7:8). The one who made this sacrifice did so to restore the relationship with God and to atone for some sin. When Araunah offered to David his threshing floor, oxen, and wood without cost so that David could sacrifice, David refused. His explanation was that he could not offer burnt offerings that cost him nothing (2 Sam. 24:18-25).
The burnt, grain, peace, sin, and guilt offering composed the basic sacrificial system of Israel. These sacrifices were commonly used in conjunction with each other and were carried out on both an individual and a corporate basis. The sacrificial system taught the necessity of dealing with sin and, at the same time, demonstrated that God had provided a way for dealing with sin.

The Prophets’ Attitude Toward the Sacrificial System

The prophets spoke harshly about the people’s concept of sacrifice. They tended to ignore faith, confession, and devotion, thinking the mere act of sacrifice ensured forgiveness. Isaiah contended that the sacrifices were worthless when they were not accompanied by repentance and an obedient life (Isa. 1:10-17). Micah reflected the same sentiments when he proclaimed that God was not interested in the physical act of sacrifice by itself but in the life and heart of the one making the sacrifice (Mic. 6:4-6). Jeremiah condemned the belief that as long as the Temple was in Jerusalem and the people were faithful to perform the sacrifices, then God would protect them. The symbol of the sacrifice must be reflected in the individual’s life (Jer. 7:1-26). Malachi chastised the people for offering the lame and sick animals to God instead of the best, as the Levitical law required. In doing this, the people were defiling the altar and despising God (Mal. 1:7-14).
The prophets did not want to abolish the sacrificial system. They, instead, denounced the people’s misuse of it. God wanted more than the physical performance of meaningless sacrifices. He desired the offerings to exemplify the heart of the worshiper.
With the death of Christ, however, physical sacrifice became unnecessary. As the temple and priest of God, the believer now has the responsibility for offering acceptable spiritual sacrifices.

Excerpted from Eaton’s Bible Dictionary

The offering up of sacrifices is to be regarded as a divine institution. It did not originate with man. God himself appointed it as the mode in which acceptable worship was to be offered to him by guilty man. The language and the idea of sacrifice pervade the whole Bible.
We learn from the Epistle to the Hebrews that sacrifices had in themselves no value or efficacy. They were only the “shadow of good things to come,” and pointed the worshippers forward to the coming of the great High Priest, who, in the fullness of the time, “was offered once for all to bear the sin of many.” Sacrifices belonged to a temporary economy, to a system of types and emblems which served their purposes and have now passed away. The “one sacrifice for sins” hath “perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”

Comment:

The burnt offering is a type of our total commitment to God and His will. God’s usage of the terminology of the “evening” sacrifice in this word for the year of 2000 indicates that we are in the last days.
Our “evening” sacrifice to God must be perfect and complete according to our financial ability. Yes, we are talking about the money that God has allowed you to keep to fund your personal living expenses. God will not settle for your ten per cent that has been erroneously taught by today’s teachers. Fund your living expenses. Be liberal if you like but not excessive. The rest belongs to God to be used for the fatherless, widows, strangers in the land and those who are truly called by God to serve His people in teaching, training and equipping them towards their mature servanthood to the body of Christ.
Be assured that the mere act of sacrifice will not ensure God’s forgiveness. You must identify with that sacrifice and then kill it by total separation from you and by relinquishing any life in it for yourself. It must be accompanied by repentance and obedience unto God’s laws, statutes, ordinances, commands and precepts. By symbolically transferring, or imparting, to that sacrifice every sin and evil thing in your life, you can find forgiveness from God and restoration to Him. God looks upon the heart and sees your lifestyle. Just because you are a member of an institutional organization does not mean that God will protect you. Don’t offer anything other that your very best to God. You must restore your relationship with God and atone for any sin in your life. It must cost you.
God has provided a way for you to deal with the sin in your life. Don’t misuse this opportunity and go through meaningless ritual. God is looking for a reflection of your heart and your lifestyle, not motion for the sake of movement.
Know that as a temple and priest of God that what you do in the natural must reflect your authority and responsibility for what will occur in the supernatural.
Remember that this principle of sacrifice has been initiated by God, and therefore is acceptable to God. And that Jesus Christ, as our great High Priest “was offered once for all to bear the sin of many.” Therefore you are simply fulfilling God’s established types and shadows the purpose of which today is to be a reflection and manifestation of your desire for forgiveness by and restoration to, your God and Creator. And to reveal to Him a new lifestyle and true repentant heart condition.

Prepare Your Hearts

Prov 16:1: (KJV)
The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
The Amplified Bible makes this a little clearer:
Proverbs 16:1: (Amplified Bible)
The plans of the mind and orderly thinking belong to man, but from the Lord comes the [wise] answer of the tongue.

Comment:

We see here that plans and organizing and procedures must be implemented by us. With the Bible as the foundation of all truth, we must read and study the word of God and rightly divide the word of truth. As we continue in fellowship with God’s Holy Spirit, He will continue to reveal to us all truth. And the answers to our plans and organizing and procedures will come to us from God through our own tongues.
As with the insufficient loaves and fishes, we must do what we can do in the natural and bring our woefully inadequate resources to Jesus. He can then take them and multiply them supernaturally, which we cannot do in the natural and, in fact, He will provide an over abundance.
