Light or Darkness, God or Man, Truth or Tradition?

Light Shows

Like a carefully orchestrated display of fireworks, words, arguments and humanly devised philosophical ideas explode like sparklers, rockets and a string of firecrackers above our heads to entertain us with artificial and temporary light. These explosions give a brilliant but short-lived false illumination, only to fade away and be replaced by the next beautiful and entertaining display.
The content of each of these explosions consists of fancy and intricate substances and devices, each one designed to contribute to the overall picture of continuity and dazzling effects by the use of lights and noise.
Brilliant points of light, as brilliant as the minds behind the words, arguments and philosophical ideas quickly fade from view — which serves only to again dramatize the darkness which preceded the awesome display we watched.
The entertainment will some day be over as quickly as it started, having run its planned course according to the planners and those who orchestrated the displays, leaving behind their smoke and floating debris.
Many will await yet another such display to whet their appetite for another human application of orchestrated excitement to amuse and entertain them.
Many more will accommodate them and present the desired man-made displays.
Nothing that man devises, however, will prevent the total darkness that is soon coming.

The Watchmen

The biblical watchmen report, the biblically ignorant respond with their experiential spiritual misadventures.
The raging controversies create the sparks that ignite and fuel the “Light Shows.”
Scriptural verses are applied and misapplied and thrown back and forth as jagged lightning flashes by those defending both scriptural and unscriptural precedents.
Spectators are blinded and can no longer see the True Light of God as fully detailed in the Christian Bible. However, the True Light of God and His Son, Jesus Christ, is not now, or will it ever be, eclipsed or extinguished.
Those who have a love of the truth will seek the words that God has seen fit to preserve in the Christian Bible. They will heed the watchman’s reports and seek for contextual confirmation in what is written in the Bible — not by what is not written in the Bible.

The Darkness

Those who are genuine disciples of Christ, i.e., learners, supporters, followers and imitators of Jesus Christ, and those who are pretenders, have shown little interest in establishing the biblical principles of the ekklesia of God being Christian families meeting together as families.
True Christianity in this United States of America is not dying — it is dead. You can argue that fact, just like your “Light Shows” argue everything else concerning our Creator. Do you hear the watchmen?
I have no foolish anticipation of some sort of man inspired and instigated “world wide revival.” Another fact the biblically illiterate would attempt to argue with their “Light Shows” mentality.
To those of you who are so dumb to have settled for the “Light Shows” of your frail, flawed, fragile, fleshy and fleshly contemporaries instead of the True Light of God, I say simply: it’s your delusion, sent directly by God Himself.
There is a large component of people in America who name the name of Christ, but who are thoroughly aligned with and sympathetic to, the “... hath God said ...” that the devil used on Eve. I wish I could say that you know who you are ... but that’s part of the terminal stupidity being displayed.

Today’s Institutional Church System

In the rebellious house of the institutional church system, traditions of men rule. The salt has lost its savour, and is cast out and trodden under foot of men. The light is under a bushel, and no longer gives light unto all that are in the house. The light also no longer shines before men, there are no good works, and your Father in heaven is no longer glorified.
Tear down this rebellious house that man has built and the source of the fireworks of the man made “Light Shows” will cease. Then the light of God will illuminate the ekklesia of God as it meets as Christian families meeting together as a family.
Don’t write me — I won’t respond to your vain and foolish imaginatory concepts of the Creator and how He relates to us humans. There are other, younger, more pro-active genuine disciples of Christ who are quite capable of exposing your fallacies. Many of them are the biblical watchmen that you despise and disdain as you cling to your damnable heretical personal “experiences.”

God Said

        Genesis 1:26-31:
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Hath God Said?

        Genesis 3:1-6:
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

The True Light

        Genesis 1:3-5:
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

        John 8:12:
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

        John 9:5:
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

        Matthew 5:13-16:
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The New Jerusalem

        Revelation 21:1-2:
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

        The New Light
        Revelation 21:10-11:
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
        11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

        Revelation 21:23:
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

        No More Night
        Revelation 22:5:
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Jesus, Not Man, Is The Beginning And The End
        Revelation 22:11-21:
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Blessed Are Those That Do The Commandments Of Jesus
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

A Warning And Reminder From God
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Ears To Hear

        Ezekiel 12:2:
2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

        Matthew 11:12-15:
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

        Matthew 13:1-9:
1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
        3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 13:36-43 (see also Mark 4:1-9; Luke 8:5-8):
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
        37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
        38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
        41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

        Mark 4:21-23:
21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

        Mark 7:6-16:
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.
        12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:
15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

        Luke 14:25-35:
25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
