Response to RUN TO GOSHEN
The Father founded the United States. What He intended for this nation is the reference to "second Eden" a model of the way God wanted it to be. This nation was to be founded on His just laws, and He would be present here with those who called out to Him. Families were to live their lives loving Him, and raising their children with justice and love, so other nations could see a nation who belonged to God. Miracles have occurred in America, even on the Mayflower itself, because the Father wanted to found this nation. The revolutionary war was won by the miraculous intervention of God. George Washington was raised up by God, for the sake of this nation, and in fact was given a vision from the Holy Spirit while in his tent on the field of battle, concerning the future of America. America was to be a beacon, a city on a hill, to which the Father could draw Jews and Gentiles alike, to come and live under His blessings, and from here He could reach the other nations with the gospel of His Son, Jesus.
In the past, people here were blessed. Before laws were passed which kicked God out of the schools and the courtroooms and the government, there was more room for God to move. This prophecy is not intended to comfort but to describe the state of this nation, and to point out that Americans will not stand for what is right.
Since the Father did found the United States (through sinful man, of course, but all things on earth have been done through sinful man since the day of Adam: it was by His will this was founded and men at that time did cry out to Him and seek Him for wisdom) He has feelings about it. His Holy Spirit has been here, striving to turn people to the truth, and seeking to keep people from rejecting the good. How does the Holy Spirit feel now that we continually reject that which is right before God? We have had eight years of immorality and corruption and sin since we voted for Bill Clinton as a nation. Now, we have a man running for office who truthfully says, "Jesus Christ changed my heart". Because of his standards and his words about Jesus, (Read Brent Bozell's news article for a commentary on the way this nation receives those who say "Jesus".) George W. Bush is being come against furiously.
There is a recent tidal wave of immorality that is coming through the television and movies. Barriers have been removed. We have commercials at five o'clock in the afternoon, following childrens' programming, which advertise TV shows, and in these commercials they say, "Isn't life more fun for these teens after they lose their virginity? Come and watch tonight on The 70s Program". There are continual sexual references on most mainstream sitcoms, which children watch, for instance, to viagra (an over-the-counter sexual stimulant). It has been such an intense wave, like a tsunami, rolling over us, of sexual content. Our children are being set up to go through a door, and on the other side of that door is AIDS, and pain and suffering and the emotional suffering which comes from entering into sexual relationships without the foundation of love and marriage. The Father showed us that the barrier that has gone down was a barrier which was removed when Clinton was called up for impeachment because of his immoral behavior and his lying about it to America. Because we allowed him to get away with it, a door was thrown wide open to the enemy, who entered. The consequence is a wave of sexual sin sweeping the entire nation. It came because we allowed the man who is the head of this nation, to flaunt his sin, and we did nothing to remove him, but we excused his behavior because "it was only about sex". We took away the standard ourselves, and the enemy has come through the opening we gave him.
We have no nation here on earth, because the one we could have rejoiced in, as we served the Father with love, is fallen. We could have loved America for her freedom, but that freedom is disappearing from under us. We could have rejoiced in one nation, under God, but the people are refusing to stand against the sin which is raging across the land.
This prophecy reflects the feelings of the Holy Spirit. It is no comfort to see the Holy Spirit's pain, passion, sorrow, and anger, but disturbing. When Jeremiah walked the streets of Israel, weeping, with such deep pain because of what he saw in the men and women of that nation, that was disturbing. That is the light in which to view this prophecy. Jeremiah said, "lamentations" and the prophets of the Father today echo that cry.
Why does the Holy Spirit say, "run to Goshen"? He says it because judgment is coming. Goshen is a place, set aside by God, in which there was protection, from the judgment which was coming from God. We must run to Goshen, because the judgment is sure. It will come, as the Father sends judgment upon the nation, and upon the world. Jesus is our Goshen. We must come to the throne room of God, and wait humbly before Him, on our knees and on our faces, to know what He wants us to do in light of the coming judgment, and in light of the freedom which the enemy has as he rages across the land.
In Jesus' name,
Char Tierney
