"Lost"                                                     2002

This picture was inspired by my good friend, Tessa. It truthfully tells what we should see when we look at people. I wanted to create an entire line of these type of pictures, but it hasn't happened yet.

  "Milly the Paladin"                                    2002

This is a favorite character of mine, a halfling paladin of the Giver. Here he stands tall (pun intended) over a slain dragon, which he has skillfully dispatched.

"Need Help"                                            2002

The only other picture (so far) in the "Lost" gallery. I don't like this one as much as the original ("Lost"). I think its because in the original, you can see the subjects' eyes, helping you connect with them.

  "The Keeper"                                              2002

This is a picture of an elven keeper, a chosen protector and watcher of the woods and its inhabitants. I'm not sure why he has no pupils...

"Shen"                                                    2000

Shen was my first role-playing character ever, as well as the main character in my first fantasy writing. This was also my first piece of anime influenced art, as you can probably tell. My style still hadn't developed, and so the drawing was almost entirely like those form the book I was learning from. By the way, those wavy butter knives she's holding are battle machetes, but you knew that....

"Scout"                                                        2002

Scout is one of my favorite characters, due to his ever changing and evolving life and history. This is a portrait of him while he was in the Nexus Militia, before he  killed his first dragon. The horse he is riding, "Blacky", was tragically killed.

"The Sword"                                          2001

This picture intrigues me still. Although it is drawn on lined paper, isn't really complete, and isn't my most well drawn pieces, I still get more comments on it than almost any other drawing. And I'm not sure why, except maybe that I put a lot of emotion in it. Maybe the look on the boys face connects with people because they can put whatever story behind they want. I'm not even going to tell you the story behind it, because i think its better for you to create your own.
