My comics originated from Josh. He started making comic books when he was 12; based off of him and his friends. Josh's character was called Ready Boy... because he was always "ready" for action... By his second issue I wanted Josh to put me into his comic, so he made me his sidekick named Lightning. That name came from a 6 year old brain, so it didn't really have a deep origin... I guess I just liked lightning bolts.

Anyway... As Josh grew older so did the Ready Boy and Lightning duo. Then Josh got to highschool and stopped doing that (he did other comic strips). Lightning was missing in action for a few years. Then in my first year of homeschool and Josh's last year in highschool... I decided to draw Lightning comics. See, the problem was that I NEVER finished an issue 1 of any thing I did. Believe it or not I started over 5 different types of comics with different characters... nothing was able to stick. So, my big brother decided to create the 1st issue of Lightning and then branch it off to me... He created bad guys and designed the cotume and everything, except create the comic... Well... this Lightning was in college and I actually FINISHED an issue, but it was issue # 2... (Josh was supposed to do # 1, the origin of Lightning, but never did)

Anyway, the "college" series of Lightning was over before it started... My brother went off to college while I sat home wondering HOW to actually finish a comic. I'm in the 7th grade, age 12 (the same as when Ready Boy started). I gave up on trying make up a TOTALLY original idea, so I read Ready Boy #1... basically stole the idea of his origin and made him Lightning. Another reason why I couldn't finish a comic is because I could never draw the same thing twice. So, I decided to draw distinguished characteristics... like I wore an afro in every frame... that's how I could tell it was me.

Well... little did I know, that was the comic that STUCK... I created over 10 of these... As I grew older, so did Lightning... The picture on the left is how Lightning looked by the 10th issue... Actually he ONLY looked like that in the 10th issue. I have created the New Adventures of Lightning.... it was only 1 comic. After the whole "lightning" era I wanted to branch out.... So I created this weird comic, Kwest and the "Sword of Blue Fire". Then there was Theta's Revenge, Cyber Teens # 1: The New Guys, and Cyber Teens # 2: Some Mo' People.

Those were adventurous comics. Then one day my school started a newspaper... and SOMEONE ELSE did the comic for it... It wasn't me!! Then one day the journalism people came to me and asked me to do one... The 1st year they created the ideas... This past year, it was ALL me. And I liked doing it so much that I did more than I needed to for the newspaper. I called these comics, COMIX... and I have all the ones that i created MYSELF online... not the ones the journalism created.
