Documentation UNDER CONSTRUCTION

I plan on scanning copies of my documentation onto this page soon. All of the documentation that I have gathered is consistant with the known history of this car.

The Documentation that I have on this vehicle (so far) includes:

LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY FROM GM RACING MARKETING MANAGER R J CHEW. This letter describes the basics of the history of the car, including its use as a Pace Car in the 2000 Daytona 500, and its use as the Promotional Car for the 2001 Daytona 500 for Daytona International Speedway.

INVOICE FROM PONTIAC HISTORICAL SERVICES. This shows the car was not delivered to a dealer, but rather, it was "Drop Shipped" to TDM, the company that did the Pace Car Conversions.

PONTIAC HISTORIC SERVICES Window Stickers. Two window stickers from Pontiac.

2001 DAYTONA 500 PROGRAM The program from this fateful race features a 1/3 page photo of this car, and identifies it as the Pace Car from the 2000 Daytona 500. It is actually one of two Pace Cars used in the running of the 2000 Daytona 500. There are small differences in the graphics on the two Pace Cars, and the one in the 2001 Daytona 500 Program is obviously mine.

PONTIAC SERVICE REPORT This copy of the Pontiac Service Report shows that the car originally went to GM SPECIAL EVENTS IN NOVEMBER 1999, and had a check on Feb 15, 2000 with 5 miles on the car. This would have been the final check of the car before the 2000 Daytona 500.

CARFAX REPORT Shows consistancy in the history of the car.

PHOTO OF CAR ON DISPLAY AT DAYTONA USA FROM TIMOTHY STAMPER I have other photos now. This was just the first one I found, and Timothy Stamper graciously let me use it.

I continue to work toward getting further documentation from Daytona USA, ISC, Pontiac, TDM, and others. I appreciate the links to any photos that people have sent, and I would also greatly appreciate any information that you may have about this car and the 2000 and 2001 Daytona 500. Feel free to email me any information that you feel may be useful. My email is: Daytona500pacecar@hotmail.com THANKS!
