And so we begin... 11/6/04 - Received email from the wonderful Jenny Hogg at University of Leeds informing me of my acceptance to the study abroad program...or should I say Programme to be up-to-date with British dialect. In any case, the news came just in time as I was losing my mind with the stress of not knowing which country I'd be living in next year. Click here to see the letter! I'll be posting more info as the journey there gets more exciting. For the moment, there'll be a lot of mundane logistical shit as I prepare to go. Obsticle #1...money! Told parents cost would be 6,000--didn't realize that was in pounds (oops...). Hopefully the United States government will grant me my $12,000 loan.
