Anorexia Nervosa is an eating disorder that affects many people, young and old. This eating disorder is common among actors, singers, and models. The picture on the left shows Melissa DeHart, who once weighed 135lbs. Melissa now weighs a dangerous 55lbs.

In an anorexics attempt to lose weight it is possible for a high percent of the bodies fat content to be lost. Due to this low percent body fat menstruation will cease. People who suffer from anorexia will have very pour nutrition, and in turn will show signs of pale skin, brittle discolored nails, fine dark hairs all over their body and sensitivity to the cold.

Anorexia Nervosa should be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible for the best treatment results
