I spent the first three years of my life at Santa Fe Speedway in Willow Springs, IL. I think that’s were my love of cars came from, listening to the roar of the motors and the smell of burning oil and rubber that put me to sleep. My dad quit with the whole racing thing so I didn’t get hooked. Until we meet GMCRacer in ’94. He got me into it when he took me for a blast in his dad’s ‘65 Nova, in ’96. He got me hooked bad, really bad. So, he helped me convince my dad into letting me build a circle track car for Raceway Park in Blue Island, IL. So we put together a ‘73 Laguna, it didn’t work out , so I gave it up, and helped GMCRacer with his and his dad’s cars at the track. Then I got the bug to start racing again in ‘04, so I decided to bracket race my ‘04 Cavalier at the Super Chevy Show at Rt. 66 in Joliet, IL., in ‘04 and ‘05. Now, I’m getting ready to start building my ‘85 Monte Carlo. Thanks to GMCRacer, I’m really hooked on street racing and just drag racing in general.
