GRANDPARENT'S DAY
September 7, 2003
We are having a guest speaker, Betty Gray, portraying in living drama
"Fanny Jane Crosby". This will be a unique dramatic experience.
Plan to be with us Sunday, Sept 7.
Work & Witness Trip To KMBC
A work & witness trip to Kentucky Mountain Bible College
has been scheduled for July 12-20. We can still use a few more people
to join us. Contact Terri Kearby if interested.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT @ THE F.A.R.M
Sunday, July 13 at 6PM
the Southside Recreation Committee is sponsoring a family activity
night at the Putt Putt golf facility owned by Calvary Baptist called
the F.A.R.M. (located 1/2 block south or the church on King street)
This evening of fellowship will be the kick off of many new activities
at Southside. The newly formed recreation committee is working hard
to provide events for all age groups in the church, including Putt_Putt
golf league, Washers, Bocce Ball, Frisbee golf league, golf outings,
sand volleyball tournament, fall volleyball league, bowling leagues,
co-ed softball and more.
There will be fun, snacks drinks, music and an informal church service. Bring all your friends and lets have a great fellowship. See you there!
P.S. Golfers, bring your pitching wedge.
