OUR GOALS
As we look back on the past we reflect on the changes and growth in our spiritual life with God as well as the growth at Southside. The Changes in buildings, but most important is the Growth in God’s Family. The relationships that we have built are growing stronger and the family is increasing. As the Songwriter has written,
"To God be the Glory, great things He has done".
As we look toward the future, God, who has lead, us up to this point, has given His people a vision for the future. We believe that we are called to be a dynamic, creative force for God’s kingdom.
In the kingdom of God, relationships are the building material that God oft uses to build believers. Health and growth will be a natural outcome of good relationships. Therefore, Relationships need to be a priority for any effective ministry. The relationship that should be a priority is your relationship with Jesus Christ. That will prove to be the most important decision you will ever make. We also develop relationships with people within the kingdom of God. Walking together on this spiritual journey will give encouragement and direction. We really do need each other, to become what God has ordained us to be. As a church, we want the relationships that you make here to be instrumental to bringing you to maturity and wholeness.
God
It is who gives us hope. May He continue to lead us to a ministry that is abounding in Love toward Him and our neighbor. He that washes our sin away, May he give us the countance of His presence as we follow Him in obedience. And lead us into a holy walk that resembles Christ in character and conduct.
As we worship together and establish relationships within our fellowship, let’s remember that God calls each one of us to minister. May the Lord direct and use you to be a blessing today. Build on another up. Lift someone’s load today that together we may truly be the community of Faith.
