a conversation between wolverine and storm
Logan sighed as he looked at the beautiful scenery around him. Today was mission-free for the X-men. Then a voice interrupted his mind. "Hey Wolvie...mind if i interrupt?"
It was Jubilee. "Hiya Jubilee." Logan replied coldly, "What's up."
Jubilee patted Logan, "Hey Wolvie! No need the sad face! I'm not that irritating am i?" Wolverine smiled faintly, "Nah. But just leave me alone would ya?" Jubilee smiled, "Sure! And I'm glad that at least you still remember to smile!
Logan sighed as Jubilee walked off. As he stared at the clear dark sky, he noticed that more stars were appearing than any other usual days.
"Whoa. What secret powers does Jubilee have?" Then a shadow behind interrupted him from speaking to himself again. Logan sighed heavily, "What's up again Jubilee?" There was a chuckle, "It's me. Not Jubilee." Logan turned around and scratched his head sheepishly, "Sorry." "I don't sound so Jubilee-ish, right?"
"Nah. It's just that i thought it was Jubilee."
"So what's up?" Logan asked. Storm sighed, "Mission free Day." "What's so bad about it?" "I mean, isn't it boring? When i prefer going on missions than staying at here?" Logan smiled, "Got what you mean." Storm smiled, "Hey Logan, wanna go somewhere?"
"Somewhere?" Storm grinned, "Maybe the amusement arcade?"
"You're losing your mind Storm." "Haa haa. Very funny, but if you are so clever, why don't you suggest where to go?" Wolverine sighed, "If i were you, i would just stay here."
"Stay here and do nothing?"
"Whoa. Hold it there. Don't tell me you are far worse than Rogue."
"What about that?"
"I mean, even Rogue loves mission-free days...you...no hope." Storm punched Wolverine playfully in the shoulder, "Better don't offend me." Logan chuckled, "Wouldn't dare."
"I should be the one who wouldn't dare. With your sharp claws...nah." Logan stared at his hands, "Is my claws really that scary?"
"Nope. Not at all. But only in battles. The way you *zish* here and *zish* there, it's really scary." Logan chuckled.
"So where are we going?" Storm asked again. Logan sighed, "Would you ever stop asking me that?"
"Is it really bad to go out to just have some fun?"
"Very bad." "How bad?"
"Very."
"OK. You win. We'll stay here and..."
"Do nothing."
"Right."
Behind them, in the thick bushes, Gambit and Rogue were whispering excitedly.
"You know something Remy?" Rogue asked.
"I know what are you talking about." Remy replied.
"OK then. What am i talking about?"
"About two lovebirds being born."
"Wrong."
"Then?"
"I need to go to the loo."
Rogue rushed off, leaving Gambit behind, peeking at the chatting Storm and Wolverine.
