The entire underground lair shook so violently that the three X-men nearly found it impossible to stand.
"We have to go back!" Ororo yelled heading in the direction that led deeper into the Lair where if they were to try to escape it would gaurentee them all dieing on the inside. Logan grabbed her arm
"Storm! We ain't got time for this. This place is fallin' apart" She shook her head dust lacing the white curls
"I'm not leaving Presha behind!" Noteing the intense look in her blue eye's Logan knew that he wasn't going to talk her out of it. "Alright! Cyc you go ahead we're right behind you. The leader of the X-men didn't argue time was running short.
Queen's Quarters:
"I'm going to rip your head off bitch!" Tacar snarled limping toward Presha as she layed against the ground to tired to escape for her life. No matter what she did Tacar seemed to bounce back with even more energy then before. She had been slammed against the wall and punched in the gut...blood creased the lines of her mouth. This was no way for a person to die. Presha assumed she was going to die, with the very building falling down around her creating a pile of mixed steel and cement as her grave. This wasn't what she wanted. Presha had imagined dieing of old age with her grandchildren and children there at her side....she could never have that now. Tacar towered over her a pole raised in her hands. The young servant wanted so much to place her arm up in a protective manner, but it hurt so much to move.
"Please---don't do this" she could here her self pleading for a life that would be over within the next minute. It hurt so much to breath, just lying there felt awful and it was getting darker by the moment. The world shook around her as darkness closed around her body and all she could hear was the shatter of broken glass.
Ororo couldn't find it within herself to leave Tacar among the falling stones to die. She couldn't live with the idea of having the chance to save a life, but didn't enemy or not. They had been lucky to find the two when they did....any longer and they would all die....it wasn't over yet. Ororo pulled Tacars limp body along the trembleing hallways as Logan led with Presha in his arms barely holding onto life. Please don't die was all that Ororo could think with no regaurd to her own life. Presha was so young and unexsperienced...she hadn't even gotten a chance to live her life none of it was fair.
"You got a heart of gold for pulling that wench along" Logan yelled over his shoulder. Ororo grunted
"Just keep moving!" the tunnel seemed as if it would have lasted forever. There was no end. Dust coated the air within the small space leaving such a thinking trail that a deep breath could make her go into cardiac arrest. finally they reached the end,but Ororo still coulf not see though all the dust. Jean's voice entered her mind //Everything is alright Storm your safe// I don't care about my safety she thought there were still more of them on the inside that deserved to be saved. Ororo tossed Tacar into strong arms and turned back toward the tunnel.
"What the hell do you think your doing!" Logan's voice screemed over the roar of crummbeling cement.
"We can get more out!" she cried still moving. He grasped her elbow
"We'er leaving now this place is lost"
"No!" she screemed again trying to hard to get away...but Logan's stregth over powered her own and she found herself being pulled into a warm space filled with familiar voices...
