July 13, 1911 in Portsmouth, Rockingham Co, NH of accidentally kiled in dock accident. Burial: Harmony Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth.
Living at 26 South St. Wakefield in 1881. Emigrated to America in 1885. General labourer in 1879, corn miller in 1881. Journeyman in 1883, Labourer in Portsmouth NH Directories of 1888-1892, Dock worker in 1911. The portsmouth Daily Herald of July 13th 1911 says:
James Bilbruck was at work in the hold of coal barge Haverford at Charles E Walker's wharf at about 2 o clock in the morning,when a block without warning pulled out of the shears of the coal hoisting apparatus surmouting the pocket 100ft in the air and descending like a plummet, struck the unfortunate man on the head. Killing him instantly.
