This is my Mini Fishing Kit. As you can see, it is based on a used 35mm film canister. You will be amazed at how many small hooks, swivels and split shot you can fit into one of these babies. i wrapped my line around a small piece of cardboard, but have read that a plastic sewing machine bobbin works better, especially if you fill it on the machine. However, I havent personally tried this.
This Kit took all of about 10 minutes to make, I simply went through my rather large tackle box and picked out some of the smaller lures that I felt I could fit in a 35mm canister. With this small kit and a hand carved pole made from a sapling, you could keep yourself in fish for a long time. This is a nice kit to add to a larger pack. It take up almost no room and adds almost no weight.
