Kyp
returned to the hotel with a grin on his face, and a spring in his
step. He hardly noticed the fishy odour clinging to him as he
triumphantly entered the hotel room. "Siee!" he called to her.
Siee came
out from where she was sitting, brushing her hair out from the helmet
hair she had. She sniffed the air once, then wrinkled her nose.
"Where have
you been, fish boy?"
He
plopped down onto the couch, "Down to the wharf." He had an
inordinately large grin on his face.
She jumped
away a bit and waved her hand in front of her nose. "Tell me later.
Shower first."
He
jumped up and grinned, "Wanna join me?"
"Normally
I'd say yes but I don't want to end up smelling like you." She grinned.
He
stuck his tongue out at her good naturedly, then walked to the 'fresher
to do as he'd been told.
"Use lots of
soap and the lilac scented shampoo too!"
"NO!"
"YES!"
"NO
LILAC!!!"
"Why not?"
"I'm
not a GIRL!"
"Well I'm
sorry but there are no shampoos that have manly smells like lum or
farts. So you get a flower."
He
didn't answer her and the shower turned on.
Siee smiled
and went back to braiding her hair.
A
short while later Kyp appeared, dutifully smelling like lilacs. It
didn't tamp down his good humour though.
Siee was
working on her hair, focusing on using the Force to tighten the braids
and make the detail work better then she could do by hand.
Kyp
chuckled and came up behind her to kiss her neck.
She lost
focus and her last braid fell out onto Kyp's nose and she leaned back
into his arms. "Much better," she stated.
He
didn't answer and kissed her neck again in stead.
she closed
her eyes and reached her arms back to rest of Kyp's head. "I take it
you had a good day..."
He
chuckled, "Yes, I did." he grinned into her hair.
"You going
to tell me then, or shall we just act like teenagers and make out?" she
joked.
He
flipped over the couch and landed to sit beside her, "It's still
there." he grinned.
"Un
touched!"
She twisted
to lean next to him, running her hand up through his hair. "What's
still there?"
"My
house," he smiled.
"I
mean... well, I haven't gone there yet - but.. it's still there, and
never touched in the past several years."
"Really?"
her eyes gleamed. "That's amazing."
"I
know."
"Probably
because they think it's haunted..."
"Haunted?"
He
sat back, "It's kindof a complicated story... see, everyone thought we
were murdered and our blood painted on the house as a warning."
"Ew."
"So
it's mine."
"Do we need
to keep the ghosts?"
"I'm
one of the ghosts, siee. It's not really haunted."
"Oh, so I
can't exterminate the ghosts then..." she let her fingers walk down the
back of his neck.
"Nope,"
he smiled.
"Oh, cause I
heard that there is a lot of fun in exterminations..."
He
pouted, "Hey its my family you're talking about."
"Do you want
them watching us at night?" she wiggled her eyebrow.
"Siee...."
She wrapped
her arms around his neck. "We can invite them back in the morning then."
He
just shook his head slightly, and smiled sadly.
"Did I upset
you?" she asked softly, running a hand through his hair.
"Nah,
it's just that... I'm back, I can sort of go home... but," he sighed.
"It's not
home home."
"Yeah."
He
shrugged, "Still... I'd like to go see it. There may be some things
there I want. Besides, it's always nice to have a vacation home on the
water, right?"
"Of course,"
she replied. "A place for the twins to learn about their father's
world."
He
smiled softly.
"Someplace
where they can learn to swim, to fish."
He
nodded and leaned his head on her shoulder as he cuddled next to her.
His muscles ached.
Her fingers
gently rub up and down his body, looking for tension. It was a week old
habit, but a habit just the same.
But,
for once, he wasn't all tensed up. He was completely relaxed as though
a great fear had been lifted from him. The fear of never going home. He
relaxed more against her and let his eyes tiredly close. He sighed
happily.
"So what are
we going to do next, my husband?"
"It's
night time, and I've been working hard all day," he mumbled.
"And I've
been cooped up in this hotel all day on your favor and I'm BORED."
He
snuggled closer, "Pillow...?"
She huffed
and stood up. "You sleep then. I'm going to go off exploring since it's
safe now."
He
flopped onto the couch, "Half an hour, Siee? Just thirty minutes and
then we can go?"
"Thirty
minutes to you is 26 hours to me, dear."
He
pouted, "Fine, go, have fun, be here when I wake up." He turned over
onto his side, facing the back of the couch.
"Yes
master," she saluted, then grabbed her bag and started out the door.
He
sighed stubbornly, and said nothing... with his voice. ~Be careful,
Siee,~ he asked her.
