Adam Lyons: -=doing another run but this time with the random squadron
name generator going...this time, Cavy Squadron, odd pilot list to boot=-
Myn Donos: -=starts heading towards the sim hanger since that's where
Adam always is but stops and turns on his comm and calls Feni=-
Fenig Durak: Fen, in her standard way, was keeping half
her attention on the sim display on the over head projector as she worked
on one of the sims that had been a little beaten up in the last two days.
She hated working on the sims. People
Fenig Durak: tended to beat up sims when they lost or
didn't make a shot, but knew better than to do that to their ships. She
needed to start thwapping pilots more often. C> "Durak Repairs. You
break it, I break you."
Myn Donos: -=snickers=- C> If that was the case it'd lead to a chain
reaction of breakings. I was going to the sim bay to tell Adam all the
news that he's missed because of his current mission.
Fenig Durak: Looks up at the younger pilot's progress
and grins at his current little 'predicament'. "C'mon down. He's having
one helluva time."
Adam Lyons: -=finishes the run, died again but killed a couple of them,
decides to take a break because it's only been five hours since he's taken
a break=-
Fenig Durak: Only.
Myn Donos: C>Oh, so you're in there already? Well I'll be down
there in a couple of minutes.
Myn Donos: -=heads on down to the sim bay
Myn Donos: =-
Fenig Durak: C> "Duh. Working."
Myn Donos: C> Really, what a suprise. -=laughs=- Think of it as
a break.
Fenig Durak: C> "You suck," she said dryly and turned
off the com. She was in something of a sarcastic mood today.
Adam Lyons: -=pops the hatch, gets out, and sits on the steps to the
sim=-
Myn Donos: -=grins and turns off his comm=-
Fenig Durak: Wiping her hands on her lucky rag, Fen sits
backon her heels her lucky loop earrings with the tool charms bumping into
the side of her neck as she moved. "You've been in there a while."
Adam Lyons: -=nods=- Watch out, there's a stinky zone with a radius
of 1 meter around me.
Myn Donos: -=walks in grinning evilly=- Should I put on a mask before
I tell you the news?
Fenig Durak: Again with the blank blinking. Fen shook
her head and went back to checking her work. "You don't need to Myn. We've
all gotten used to your stink a long time ago."
Adam Lyons: -=shakes his head=- Har har, -=looks at Feni=- Sometime
I don't know how you put up at him. So what is this news that you must
tell me?
Myn Donos: -=grins at Feni=- First, the first part of the news involves
our crazy mechanic. Hobbie is now officially taken and married Feni...
Fenig Durak: "Wow, how unceremonious of you," she said
flatly as she turned a grin on Myn and Adam.
Adam Lyons: -=ponders=- I think I was there when Fen and Hobbie mentioned
that to you. -=grins=- Next time I'll have Myn get a dozen ewoks, half
in flight suits and half in mechanic suits. And again Feni, congrats....
Adam Lyons: Maybe Hobbie will have some time to be happy.
Fenig Durak: "He does," her eyes sparkled mischeviously.
Myn Donos: -=clears his throat and frowns=- Unfortunately he won't
have as much time as he might...because Wes retired.
Adam Lyons: -=gives a deer caught in the headlights look and looks at
Feni for conformation=- He...did?
Fenig Durak: She shut her eyes against the hurt Wes' departure
caused and nodded her head slowly.
Myn Donos: -=looks at Feni and speaks only loud enough for her to hear=-
Wes, along with Hobbie are one of his heroes, and he really wanted to
see what wisdom he could offer.
Adam Lyons: -=leans against the simulator=- Sith...first Wedge and
Tycho, then now Wes...Hobbie's the last one isn't he?
Fenig Durak: Again, she nodded solemnly.
Adam Lyons: -=looks up=- Anyone planning to go visit him?
Shelonei: Hobbie sat on the bottom of the pool,
fishbreather over his nose and mouth, arms crossed, weights in his lap.
Thinking.... Again.... taking a lunch break to do something other than eat
- as was his habit of late.
Myn Donos: -=gives a somewhat pained look, knowing how much it must
effect Adam=- Umm, it isn't as simple as Wedge and Tycho since they just
retired and still on planet. Wes as far as we know is not on planet...
Adam Lyons: -=looks down again=- Oh...-=looks back up=- Myn, tell me
something about Wes...
Myn Donos: -=grins=- I was wondering when you'd get to that...well
back when I was training to join and eventually command Talon Squad, we
had Wes and Hobbie training us, which in my opinion are probably the two
best trainers that the...
Myn Donos: Republic has ever had, anyways one of the things that Wes
does really well is that he knows the best way to train, push the pilots,
but not too hard and when Hobbie gave us our official reality check, you
know,
Myn Donos: "That most likely you'll die...", Wes walks up and stops
Hobbie in the middle and says, "Lt. Klivian here, has to do this since he
has the proper mood about things like this because it wouldn't seem right
if it...
Myn Donos: was done like this." And he repeats Hobbie's speech and
does a rather nasty rendition of an ewok dance of joy which was pretty funny.
So there's my official, "This one time in Training camp..." story.
Adam Lyons: -=grins=- Heh, I've always heard that he knows how to soften
the mood...
Myn Donos: -=nods with a grin=- Before we go on to more memories of
Wes, the third part of the news that you've missed out is that Gavin's going
to take over Wes's job as XO.
Fenig Durak: "You have no idea,"she said softly, sitting
on the edge of the sim pod catwalk, her legs dangling a little, feet barely
above the floor.
Adam Lyons: -=nods at Myn's news and looks at Feni=- Yeah, it won't
be easy to make up what Wes gave to the squadron.
Fenig Durak: She looked to be cleaning her tools, though
a pair of fingers were gently rubbing against her tummy. "No, it won't."
Adam Lyons: Hmm, I still think that once all of this is over that we
go look for Wes, wherever he is.
Adam Lyons: Either that or you -=nods at Feni=- and Kirney go look for
him when you two have the chance.
Fenig Durak: She shook her head. "I can't."
Myn Donos: -=shudders=- I don't think it'd be a good idea for Kirney
to go anyways, she's evil.
Fenig Durak: "She's hardly evil."
Adam Lyons: Yeah -=shrug=- why the first part would probably be better,
because I'm fairly certain that Hobbie would want to go. And I must agree
with Feni, because she's always nice to me.
Myn Donos: -=nods=-
Myn Donos: -=sighs=- Well guess I have to go, I have to try on my
tux. Somehow this won't be fun...though it's better than the dress uniform.
Fenig Durak: "No body stocking then?" Fen sounded disappointed.
Myn Donos: -=grins=- No, I hate those things about as much as Hobbie
does...
Adam Lyons: -=snickers=- So that's what we'll blame Wes's retirement

Fenig Durak: She just grinned, using her memories of Hobbie's
birthday suit to imagine him in just the body stocking.
