----
Face and Estra, undercover as Natar Idej, and Tolema Cemagnu, have made
their way into Warlord Ralos' informational structure. They had been sent
by a leser moff to gain the knowledge needed to build the invincible fighters
that plagued the New Republic so.- They now sat among a few other representatives
in a briefing room on Warlord Ralos' flagship. The Warlord was not present,
but that wasn't necessary anyhow.--------
Director Traehv: Now that
you are all here, I shall begin by welcoming you all. -=nods curtly=-
Now, please direct your attention to the holovid in the corner.
FaceGarik Loran: ::As he sat in silence in his seat, he wondered how long
it would be now, as he looked towards the holovid.::
Estra Stoneringer: -=Under the guise of Ensign Cemagnu,
sits silent, watching with her holographic mind to intake any and all information.
Silently.=-
-=The
Holovid came on to show a fighter, not dissimilar to the V38 Phantom, on
display. It turned slowly as the Director spoke.=-
Director Traehv: As you
can see, we have taken, and improved upon, the TIE V38 Phantom fighter.
The two-seated fighter has been adjusted to hold only one man, while the
extra space has been filled with state of the art equipment
FaceGarik Loran: ::He nods sagely, as he took in the information.::
Director Traehv: This equipment is that which
enables the V6GT to destroy the enemy without firing a single shot.
Director Traehv: Technology
for the V6GT has been borrowed from the V38's to provide full cloaking
both visually, and by scanner. In this, we are able to pounce upon any
given group of Rebel ships and destroy them without them finding out what has hit them..
Estra Stoneringer: -=Blanches slightly, but quickly brings
things back under control. Says nothing as she continues observing=-
FaceGarik Loran: ::His years of trainning and acting allows him to simply
control his emotions, as he sat in silence in his seat.::
Director Traehv: We
have put several of these ships through test runs against the Enemy's patrols,
with 100% sucess. The first attack allowed two Rebels to escape. This
was to show the Enemy that we can, and will, Destroy them at will. None since have escaped.
Director Traehv: -=grins=-
Therefore, we have finally come up with the decisive weapon to use against
them. However, I shall not give you any more details at this time. Two
days from now, at 0800 hours, we shall provide a demonstration of the new V6GT's prowess in battle at the
coordinates E78-6519. We shall be watching a small battle from an observation
craft. We shall leave here at 0500hours. I look forward to impressing
you all there. Dismissed.
Estra Stoneringer: -=Waits a moment, digesting the information,
then stands and waits for the Lt. (Face) to lead their way out.=-
FaceGarik Loran: ::He steps out of his seat, his booted feet coming together
with a light click. Then he turned about to his left and began to move
away from the chair.::
Estra Stoneringer: -=Silently follows him out of the room.=-
FaceGarik Loran: ::He begins moving down along the hallway in silence.::
Estra Stoneringer: -=follows him all the way to the suite
they'd been given for their stay, and immediately begins scanning the room
by sight to see if anything is even slightly out of place.=-
FaceGarik Loran: A much long winded speech, but surely we will wipe out
the Rebellion like bugs.
Estra Stoneringer: Yes sir, and about time they be taught
a lesson, too.
Estra Stoneringer: -=silently moves forward to a lamp,
and reaches beneath it to flick off a bug, and turn it off.=- There.
FaceGarik Loran: That all of them?
Estra Stoneringer: -=nods=- Yes. they're pretty lax.
FaceGarik Loran: When are you going to make the package to send back to
command?
Estra Stoneringer: I think we should tell them about this
exhebition run, don't you? Maybe they can do a snoop and scoot to begin
building a profile on these things? -=in thought outloud speaking=-
FaceGarik Loran: Good idea.
FaceGarik Loran: Do you have the transmitter?
Estra Stoneringer: -=nods and pulls a small device from
her pocket, before going to grab her datapad from her room, she soon returns
while she's typing things into it=- Sir?
FaceGarik Loran: Yes?
Estra Stoneringer: I can't help but have a really bad
feeling about all of this... it seems almost TOO easy.
FaceGarik Loran: Well it isn't like ten stormtroopers have come in running
in after us.
Estra Stoneringer: Yet.... -=finishes typing in the information,
and quickly attatches the device to her datapad to send it out=- Though,
maybe we're not the one in danger.. y'know?
Estra Stoneringer: -=finally looks up at Face, fear in
her eyes=-
FaceGarik Loran: Do you think that it isn't the real test site?
Estra Stoneringer: -=shakes head=- No, but I wonder if
it won't be just 'testing', I mean, it could be the coordinates of a patrol,
or something.... or perhaps they're HOPING there's a spy in the midst,
if not us, someone else, and that whoever comes
Estra Stoneringer: along will be lead into a trap?
FaceGarik Loran: Add it in the report, that we suspect that it might actually
be a trap to weed out spies.
Estra Stoneringer: -=nods and types in a little more information=-
Estra Stoneringer: Done.
FaceGarik Loran: Let's hope the New Republic listens for once.
Estra Stoneringer: -=nods and sighs=- Hopefully this
thing'll be resolved quickly and painlessly... for ours anyhow.
FaceGarik Loran: Well just turn on the bug and it's time for us to relax.
Estra Stoneringer: -=Smiles, goes back to the lamp, and
clips the bug back on=- Sir, Permission to go take a lay down?
FaceGarik Loran: Granted Ensign.
