Kyp - Shel | Siee - Alison
Kyp Durron: Kyp went to the barracks, after he
left the Downtime, to check on siee. he did a simple search for her unique
signature, and soon stood before the door to her quarters. He knocked.
Siee Janson: Siee was curled up in bed, reading
a book with a bowl of nerf snaxs. She thought she heard someone knocking,
but shook her head. *Probably my imagination*
Kyp Durron: He waited a minute or so, then knocked
again, a bit more loudly. "Lady Wraith, are you there?"
Siee Janson: Siee blinked. Someone was there.
She put her book down and stood up, then padded her way to the door. "Who's
there?"
Kyp Durron: "Kyp Durron."
Siee Janson: She shook her head and palmed the door
open, then leaned into the doorway. She was in her PJ's still, a pair
of runner's pants with a string sleeve t-top. "Whatcha doing here, jedi
boy?" she smileed teasingly.
Kyp Durron: He himself was dressed in darkest blue
that day, so dark it was almost black. His lightsabre hung at his side.
"I just wanted to be sure you were alright... after the other nite."
Siee Janson: She hugged her arms to her side. "I'm
fine. Called Cracken and took a few days off. Figured I'd take a few
anger management classes or something." She smirked.
Kyp Durron: He nodded, then looked at her curiously.
"You're sure you're alright?"
Siee Janson: She nodded, then looked into her
apartment. She had a single, her partner having been undercover on some
mission for about a month now absent. "Want to come in?"
Kyp Durron: He shrugged, his hands stuffed in his
pockets. "You should probably get back to sleep."
Siee Janson: "Kyp... it's 19 hundred." She raised
an eyebrow.
Kyp Durron: He shrugged, "You're in your sleeping
clothes."
Siee Janson: "It's called lounge wear. You can
spend the whole day in them if you wanted." She held her hand out to motion
of Kyp to enter.
Kyp Durron: Hesitantly, he did enter. "Oh. Sorry."
Siee Janson: "It's ok... you grew up on kessel...
You probably don't know much about a lot of things." She closed the door
and went to the kitchenette. "Want something to drink?"
Kyp Durron: "No thanks, I'm fine." He shrugged,
his hands still in his pockets.
Siee Janson: "Suit yourself." Her apartment was
very sparse. There was a couch, a communications center, and a holovid
screen. A few pictures were on the wall, and then it broke off into two
rooms and a fresher.
Siee came back into the room holding a glass of water. "So, what's up?"
Kyp Durron: "Nothing, really." He shrugged, looking
over the room. "You're pretty spartan. I didn't expect that."
Siee Janson: "I never really got a chance to go
around Coruscant. When I came here two years back, I was recruited right
after the battle of taanab, I was thrust right into training and missions.
I think these few days off is the only vacation I've taken that I haven't
used to go home." She sat down on the couch and motioned for Kyp to sit
next to her.
Kyp Durron: He did. "It must be nice to be able
to go home, though."
Siee Janson: "It's wierd these days. My sister
is married and expecting her third kid. My mom's rich since we got our
land back from the Emprie. And she's always bugging Wes to get married and
settle down with a family, and for me to find a nice guy and stop working."
Kyp Durron: "Sounds wonderful."
Kyp Durron: "So, why don't you?" he asked, before
he realised the words his mouth were forming.
Siee Janson: Siee sighed and looked into her water.
"Long story."
Kyp Durron: "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked
that, should I?"
Siee Janson: "Not your fault." She took a sip of
water then set it down on the table. "I was with a guy, Jagged. Wes hated
him. But then on a mission I got kidnapped and was tortured. Hense the
lovely scars all over my body. After that... Jagged just seemed to get
distant. My partner, Mike, and I tried to date for a bit, but then he just
leaves one night saying he had it with us and never to bother looking for
him cause he didn't give a sith." She bit her lip. "Everyone else just
sees the scars and stears clear."
Kyp Durron: "I'm sorry."
Siee Janson: "That's kinda how I got in trouble
with this... i was getting really depressed. My headaches hurted more,
and no one wanted me. When Hobbie was being nice, my body just took over.
I think I confused him alot."
Kyp Durron: Kyp just blinked, since he didn't know
why they were looking for her the other night anyway, this is
the first he heard anything remotely as to a why. "Oh."
Siee Janson: "I just wanted someone to see me for
who i was... not a bunch of ugly scars. Hobbie responded, and I grasped."
She took another sip of water, then jumped up. "Time for some caf. I'll
drown if I keep drinking just water."
Kyp Durron: He nodded and waited for her to return.
She used him to feel
secure, and he doesn't even know it.... Things just got worse on *that* front..
Siee Janson: She walked back with two cups of caf.
She handed one to him and sat back down. "So yeah, that's my life."
Kyp Durron: "Thank you." He sipped at it, then
looked at her. "I guess if guys just see your scars, they're not worth
it, huh? I heard someone say something like that once." He lowered his
voice slightly, donning a Corellian accent, "'Kid, if people don't like you
just because of a mistake you made, or what you look like - they're not
worth knowing'. Or something like that," he shrugged and sipped again at
the caf.
Siee Janson: Siee curled her legs up under her.
"Sounds like something Solo would say."
Kyp Durron: "He did," nods.
Siee Janson: "So what was Kessel like?"
Kyp Durron: "I told you. It was hell." He looked
down at the caf. "I'm sure you've heard stories. You're intel, Sith, you
probably know more than I do,and I lived there most of my life."
Siee Janson: "I probably do know more than you do."
She got on her intel face. She reached back and pulled a file folder from
the top of the desk and tossed it to his lap.
Kyp Durron: He frowned, "What's that?"
Siee Janson: "Something that you've never seen and
will have never seen after you raed it." She sipped her caf, measuring
him with her eyes carefully.
Kyp Durron: "One of those, 'I tell you then I have
to kill you' things?" He looked curious. "I can keep a secret."
Siee Janson: She nodded. "Tell me what you think."
Kyp Durron: "What's the catch?" his eyes narrowed.
Siee Janson: "You tend to keep your life a secret.
I can find out anything I want with a turn of the keyboard. I haven't
read that yet, btu i will if you don't tell me why your name is so familiar
to me."
Kyp Durron: He frowned again, "I told you the other
night."
Siee Janson: "There's something more you're not
telling me."
Kyp Durron: He tried to think. No, he'd told her
of the suncrusher, and destroying star systems, about putting Luke into
a coma. The only thing he didn't say was what he'd done to Dr. Qwi Xux,
but that couldn't be it. "No, I don't think there is."
Siee Janson: "You sure."
Kyp Durron: "As far as I recall, yes," he said near
honestly.
Siee Janson: She took the folder from his lap then
and walked over to a shredder. She dropped it in instantly, the papers
going to tiny square bits. "Kyp, I don't know why, but I trust you. And
I hope that this shows you that."
Kyp Durron: "I believe you. But I'm pretty sure
that wasn't the only copy." At least
now she won't know I can take things from people's minds.....
Siee Janson: "I don't have access to destroy the
hard copy on the server." She sat back down. "You'll just have to trust
me that I'll never access it again."
Kyp Durron: He nodded. "Alright." then he smiled,
"You know, I think I like Coruscant."
Siee Janson: "It gives me headaches,' she joked.
Kyp Durron: "I'm sorry."
Siee Janson: "Not your fault... "
Kyp Durron: He shrugged and sipped at the caf a
moment. "I know. I like Coruscant, because here I've met many people who
don't immediately try to kill me or run from me on sight. I dislike Coruscant,
because of the millions of others that do." He eyed her speculatively.
"I have a thought."
Siee Janson: "What's that?"
Kyp Durron: "Maybe now that you don't actively
hate me..... maybe now I could get that headache for you?"
Siee Janson: "What do you mean, get that headache?"
Kyp Durron: "I can't help but think that it's
external... abnormal. Would you be willing to let me try to make it gone?"
Siee Janson: She shurgged. "I trust you. but if
you make it hurt, I hurt you back."
Kyp Durron: He thought to himself, maybe if it won't leave for good, I
can make it come on me instead of her?
Kyp Durron: "Fair enough." He put the cup of caf
down, then took hers and set it down as well. "Close your eyes, and try
to relax, okay?"
Siee Janson: "You know a doctor told me that once,
and when i woke up, I didn't have an appendix anymore." she grinned.
Kyp Durron: "I promise you'll still have your head,"
he chuckled.
Siee Janson: "Oh that's a relief." She smiled and
closed her eyes. Images of Kyp pulling out a vibroblade filled her mind
and she peaked one eye open.
Kyp Durron: His eyes were already closed, and he
had an intense look on his face, then he delved into her mind, attempting
to rip out the head pain and either toss it aside or take it on himself.
Siee Janson: The pain steamed away from her and
filled the whole room. IT flowed in waves around, leading downwards into
the floor. It went further down to the core, where the power was raw. A
dark force was there, riding the waves, pulling strings on different trendils
of it's power.
Kyp Durron: Kyp pulled away from her, suddenly
exhausted. His gaze tore from her lovely face to stare at the floor with
dread. "Oh.... Sith...."
Siee Janson: Siee opened her eyes, haviing felt
his mind leave hers. "What?"
Kyp Durron: He was staring at the floor, as though
he were trying to bore a hole in it with his eyes. "This is bad, this is
very bad," he kept whispering to himself.
Siee Janson: "Kyp, you're scaring me now. What
did you see?"
Kyp Durron: "I didn't *see* anything, per se. Oh
gods, I wish I had been wrong.... There *is* something external causing
the headaches. It feels so very familiar... but just different enough that..."
He snapped out of it and looked at her. "Forgive me for asking such a
strange request, but please let me sleep on your floor tonight."
Siee Janson: Siee blinked. "Uh... well my roommate
Laine has been on assignment for a few weeks... i don't think she'll be
back tonight. You can stay in my room and I'll stay in hers, just in case
she doesn come home."
Kyp Durron: He shook his head, "No, on your floor."
he repeated.
Siee Janson: "You mean the floor floor?"
Kyp Durron: "Yes. In your room, with you on your
bed."
Siee Janson: "You realize if my brother finds out
you're a dead man."
Kyp Durron: "Yes, but if I don't, you may be much
worse off than myself if your brother finds out."
Kyp Durron: He looked at her very seriously, suddenly
looking old.
Siee Janson: She nodded. "Ok then. Do you need
to go get something from where you're staying?"
Kyp Durron: He shook his head, "I don't need anything
at the Solo's place, and I'll comm Han to let him know I'm out. I'd rather
not leave you alone right now."
Siee Janson: She tried to put a small smirk on her
face. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were hitting on my, Kyp
Durron."
Kyp Durron: He frowned slightly, not quite grasping
what she said. He did catch, however, that she was making a joke, and he
smiled slightly. "Alright then."
