Kyp - Shel | Siee - Alison
Siee Janson: Siee smiled
back. "Come on, jedi boy. Take me home. I need to get into something a
tad warmer."
Kyp Durron: He
nodded and off they went.
Kyp Durron: They took a turbolift one level up,
and he led her to the Solo's speeder.
Siee Janson: Siee reached into the back of the speeder,
pulling a blanket from the back and wrapped it around her shoulders. "I'm
sorry about your brother," she whispered softly to Kyp.
Kyp Durron: He nodded, not trusting himself to
speak as the memories of his reign of terror flooded him. He opened the
passenger door for her, then went to the driver side, vaulting in and starting
up the speeder.
Siee Janson: "You don't have to talk about it if you don't
want." she sat in the speeder seat and curled up. "I can understand."
Kyp Durron: He nodded, and put them into a traffic
lane, taking a much safer way of driving to the base. "Thank you." He
glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, then went back to watching
where he went. "I don't want to sound bossy - but you need to try and not
let yourself get so angry. I don't know what happened back there, but
too much of that is a bad thing... a really bad thing," he finished quietly.
Siee Janson: "I don't even know what it is," she stated.
"It makes me want to be angry. It's making me do a lot of things that
aren't like me."
Kyp Durron: He thought for a moment. "When did
that start? The unexplained anger?"
Siee Janson: She thought for a moment, then her hand went
and touched a very sensative scar on her shoulder. "Probably about the
time I got all these. Slowly at first while I was recovering... now it's
like a lightswitch."
Kyp Durron: "Maybe whatever it is that happened
to you, triggered something..." he spoke almost like it was to himself.
He raised his voice some, speaking to her again. "And your headaches?"
Siee Janson: "Don't remember. Always had them. Mom said
they were part of being a woman."
Kyp Durron: He visibly flushed slightly, and said
nothing
Siee Janson: "I just wish it would all go away."
Kyp Durron: "I know what you mean," he turned into
another lane of traffic. "Unfortunately, life isn't that simple. And wishing
never makes anything happen. Sith... sometimes I wish Han'd just
left me on Kessel," he mumbled to himself. *At least then my brother'd
still be alive....*
Siee Janson: "You were on Kessel?" Her NRi mind instantly
went into motion. "What did you do?"
Kyp Durron: "Not a thing." He glanced at her from
the corner of his eyes before going back to looking straight ahead. "My
parents opposed the Empire. They took my brother to Carida, and put my
parents and me on Kessel. My parents were killed shortly thereafter," he
sounded very bitter. "I was six when I went there, only left two years
ago. It. Was. Hell."
Siee Janson: Siee blinked. She would still check up on
his files later. Something about him, his story, nagged at the back of
her head as being familiar. "I'm sure. I'd never want to go anywhere
near Kessel."
Kyp Durron: "Don't." He turned them down the final way to the base.
Siee Janson: She lowered her head, rubbing her legs together
for warmth. "Did you ever find that people avoid you, and those few who
let you close do so only to humor you?"
Kyp Durron: "People avoid me like Kessel Fever....
and Yeah, only they let me around cause they're scared of me. I don't
want people to be afraid of me, but they are.... they don't believe a person
can change, that they make mistakes they know they'll regret as long as
they live." He shrugged, "Either that, or they
want to kill me for some sort of glory," he said, referring to the thug.
Kyp Durron: He looked at her briefly, "I don't
think you'd have to worry about that, though."
Siee Janson: "I hope so... " she bit her lip. "I know
Hobbie and Wes are going to be afraid of me now."
Kyp Durron: "Concerned maybe, not afraid. You
haven't done anything to warrant fear."
Kyp Durron: He pulled them into a space and got
out to open her door. As he did so, an ambulance type thingie pulled up,
and a bloody-faced Hobbie is pulled out on a stretcher and brought into
the base on his unconscious way to surgery and bacta.
Siee Janson: Siee hides her head, trying to hold back tears.
"What am I becoming, Kyp?"
Kyp Durron: He reached out to touch her shoulder,
thought better of it, and pulled back. "Only you can decide that, Siee."
Siee Janson: "I don't understand what's happening. How
can i decide if I don't even know?!"
Kyp Durron: "I don't know, I wish I could tell
you." He thought a moment. "I can try to show you some of the things
Luke's shown me...."
Siee Janson: "Skywalker?"
Kyp Durron: He nodded. "Yeah, he's really a piece of work,
but he does know his stuff."
Siee Janson: "What stuff?"
Kyp Durron: "Calming techniques, for one - so that
when you get frustrated you can avoid that boiling anger," he leaned back
against the speeder and regarded her.
Siee Janson: "I use my target practice for that," she stated
Kyp Durron: He shook his head, "Something less
violent."
Kyp Durron: He thought a moment, "Siee, do you
remember what happened the other night?"
Siee Janson: "Which night?"
Kyp Durron: "The night we got those people that
Intel wanted."
Siee Janson: She shook her head. "Somewhat..."
Siee Janson: "I tend to remove missions form my head so
I can focus on the next one."
Kyp Durron: "That's when I first met you... and
I felt something... strange. It was centered on your headache. You didn't
want me anywhere near you, but that sentiment I'm used to. Being my inimitably
stubborn self, I took it upon myself to try and help you." He shrugged and looked off in the distance, "I've
never felt anything like that before, the intense pain had a Force quality
to it.... and then you *pushed* me away, knocking me out." He looked back
down to her. "With your mind," he clarified.
Siee Janson: "I didn't know..." she blinked. "Does that
mean I'm a jedi or something?"
Kyp Durron: "Something," he nodded slowly. "That's
why you have to try and not get so angry. That's why I'm worried about
you."
Siee Janson: She looked up, pain and fear in her eyes.
"I don't know what to do, Kyp. I don't know who i am anymore..."
Kyp Durron: He looked at her seriously, then leaned
over the edge of the speeder, looking into her eyes. "You're Siee Janson.
A Wraith, part of New Republic Intelligence. And, you happen to have
Force sensitivity awakening in you. That doesn't change who you are, not
if you don't let it." He shrugged and leaned back. "It just
changes how you do things."
Siee Janson: Siee took the blanket off her shoulders and
handed it to Kyp. "Great... Cracken is going to love this one..."
Kyp Durron: He frowned, dislike for the General
evident on his features as he grabbed the blanket and tossed it back into
the speeder. "He doesn't have to know. That Halcyon, er Horn, guy still does his job fine."
Siee Janson: "He'll probably find out the next time he
does something I don't like and a lightning bolt hits the wall behind him."
She tried to smile a bit, the Janson humor breaking through to help her
recover.
Kyp Durron: His head snapped back around to look
at her. "Lightning?"
Siee Janson: "Yeah." She blinked. "You didn't hear?"
Kyp Durron: He shook his head.
Siee Janson: "I kinda fried Hobbie and my brother... i
think Wes more than HObbie."
Kyp Durron: A flicker of fear passed through his
eyes, but was quickly gone. "Please promise me you'll do everything in
your power to NOT do that again," he said earnestly.
Siee Janson: "I'll try, but it's not like I have great control
over it," she stated.
Kyp Durron: "Well..." he seemed to be thinking
very hard, his mind jumping around many possibilities. "Try not to let
yourself get angry. No matter what other people think, if you feel yourself
starting to get angry, Leave the situation."
Kyp Durron: He pulled out a piece of flimsy and
some graphite and began scribbling something on it.
Siee Janson: "I try... they won't let me."
Kyp Durron: "Just do it," he handed her the flimsy,
"I'm on planet for a little while yet. Comm me if you think you're going
to go out of control."
Kyp Durron: He pausd a moment, "Or if you just
want to talk about this."
Siee Janson: Siee took the paper and nodded. She waited
until Kyp was back in the speeder, then leaned over and smiled softly.
"Just so you know, while i do find you annoying at times, I don't fear
or hate you. Thanks." she smiled, then turned to go back to her room.
Kyp Durron: He watched her go, then smiled. "No....
thank *you*." He waited until she'd entered the building, then turned
the speeder back on and headed back to the Solo's place for some much needed
sleep.
Kyp Durron: *Maybe coming with Han to Coruscant
was one of the best things I've ever done?*
