Myn Donos: -=smiles=- I wanted to talk about Wes with you.
Hobbie Klivian: -=sits back and motions to the chair=-
Myn Donos: -=sits down=- I want to see if we can form some sort of
a loose plan to get Wes out of his mood.
Hobbie Klivian: -=shrugs=- Don't know as a plan would
work, but what's going through your head on it?
Myn Donos: -=still grinning=- Ok you want Wes to get out of his mood
because he's your best friend right? I want to get him out of his mood
because he helped me out before.
Hobbie Klivian: -=nods and waits for the train of thought

Myn Donos: Hmm, he didn't even bother asking how Wes helped me out.
Myn Donos: Do you get the opinion that Wes is almost a walking dead
man? I mean he's alive and everything, but nothing really has
any influence on him besides his mood.
Hobbie Klivian: -=flinches slightly as the memory of
wes calling himself a "walking corpse" flashes through his mind=- -=nods
again, not trusting himself to find the right words just now=-
Myn Donos: -=grins=- Wes helped me out with this exact same thing
before. I stopped being a dead corpse after help from him and Kirney.
Hobbie Klivian: You've been doing a lot of thinking
on this, haven't you?
Myn Donos: Yeah, just like I have with you and Doc, and Feni and Wes.
Hobbie Klivian: -=sighs=- And your conclusion? -=ignoring

the bad.
Hobbie Klivian: And how do you suggest that be done?
Myn Donos:
Well of the three things that got me back
from corpse land, two came from Wes. They were fun and humor. -=smiles=-
Guess what came from Kirney.
Hobbie Klivian: -=dryly=- sex?
Myn Donos: -=laughs=- Close, but it's love. -=points
at the picture of Doc=- And you know that it's a very powerful thing.
Hobbie Klivian: -=grits his teeth, but doesn't rise=-

Myn Donos: We'll need Feni in on this for that part but I think we
can handle the other two.
Hobbie Klivian: I don't know about that.....
Myn Donos: What? We aren't able to show Wes a good time? And I've
gone through the Janson Academy of Humor...and you've experienced some
yourself too.
Hobbie Klivian: -=chuckles briefly=- Perhaps - but
then again maybe it'd be good to let him have a little space, and just
keep an eye out for him.
Myn Donos: We've given him space for a year and look what happened,
he wastes a perfectly good chance to have a relationship, you get shot,
we give him more space what could be next?
Hobbie Klivian: -=starts getting angry, but swallows
it back down behind his usually dour exterior=- Despite what you think,
a relationship may not be what the man needs right now... in fact, it could
be the LAST thing he needs.
Myn Donos: -=looks into Hobbie's eyes=- He needs a constant in his
life. Feni COULD be it.
Hobbie Klivian: -=almost growls=- A woman is the last
thing he needs to complicate his life right now. I know she has it bad
for him, but it's up to him whether or not to reciprocate - until he does
so, I am not pushing him. Understood?
Myn Donos: -=shakes his head=- Not a woman, a friend that he can trust
completely. Feni might be it.
Hobbie Klivian: -=just looks at myn=-
Myn Donos: I'm sorry but I have to imagine that he just feels he can't
tell anyone. Whether you, me or anyone...possibly not even his sister.
Hobbie Klivian: But he could tell someone whom he's
known only a few months, is that it? -=shakes head=- I'm sorry, but I don't
buy that.
Myn Donos: -=looks at Hobbie=- How many people can roll with his jokes
as well as Feni?
Hobbie Klivian: You can't force them on each other,
Donos.
Myn Donos: I'm not saying that Wes isn't our friend but what I am saying
is that there are probably some things that he wouldn't feel comfortable
telling us.
Hobbie Klivian: I would think that's for Wes to decide,
not for you, not even for me - and I"ve known him longer than anyone here.
Myn Donos: And you don't think I don't know that? And forcing Wes
and Feni on each other? That's what I practically did to you and Doc.
Hobbie Klivian: -=growls=- Exactly. Now, is there anything else you want to say?
Myn Donos: You probably have no idea.
Hobbie Klivian: -=says nothing=
Myn Donos: You remember the Wes when he was drunk with those Rogue
Girls around? That's what I remember him like when he was with the Wraiths
when he was sober. That's
the Wes I want back. I guess you think that this would never work but what makes
you and Wes so close is that he's an optimist. You
two compliment each other, a year and half ago he was fun to be around,
life around Wes was a party. He could cheer the worst Dark Lord of Sith
into a giddy little school girl.
Hobbie Klivian: -=smirk breaks through=- Yeah, he
could. -=sadly=-
Myn Donos: No offense Hobs, but Wes has practically gone and turned
into you. -=winces=- And two Hobbie's aren't that much fun.
Hobbie Klivian: You, of most people here, should know
this. When your entire worldview becomes blown to atoms, it takes a long
time to put it back together. Unfortunately, Wes was taken a step further,
and nearly lost his mind. We can't expect things to be back to normal in only a year.
Myn Donos: -=rolls his eyes=- And you've been down on yourself for
nearly 30 years. Wes needs people to help him back, I don't think it's
possible by yourself.
Hobbie Klivian: With me, it's personality - with Wes....

Myn Donos: I think Doc told me that once...or was it Feni?
Hobbie Klivian: -=shrugs=-
Myn Donos: Right with you it may be personality but there are times
where you kick yourself too hard. You HAVE to see that Wes is doing the
same thing.
Hobbie Klivian: -=expertly hides the boiling emotion
below the surface and speaks clearly, albiet a little coldly=- I never
said I don't see it. I've been watching it for quite some time now, and
it kills me. However, I don't believe there is a way we could "make" him "better".
Myn Donos: I know there isn't a definate way but he has to face what
is beating him up.
Hobbie Klivian: That's what he's doing.
Myn Donos: I don't think so...he's brooding about it but not thinking
about it.
Hobbie Klivian: -=feeling persnickity=- Maybe that's what he needs
right now.
Myn Donos: What to think about it? It took Wes to make me think about
what I needed to think about.
Hobbie Klivian: Ever think that perhaps thinking too
much is what got him to this point in the first place?
Myn Donos: Huh? I have no clue what you're talking about.
Hobbie Klivian: -=sighs and runs a hand through his
hair=- He's recovering from a nervous breakdown, Myn. One brought on by
thinking too much about something and twisting it in his mind to a place
where he could blame himself for so many things that were outside any of our control. Thinking is the last thing he needs to do. -=sighs and leans back heavily, saying that took a
lot out of him=-

-=winces=- Ouch, I know that nervous breakdowns
can mess you up. -=looks down, thinking out loud=- Could he be going back
into a relapse?
Hobbie Klivian: I hope not.

Hobbie Klivian: -=finds himself wondering if Wedge
and Tycho's retirement may have brought some of this on, along with the
anniversary part of things=-
Myn Donos: Could it be possible?
Hobbie Klivian: -=sighs=- I don't think there's any
way I could be absolutely sure, without sitting him down and talking to
him, but he's been sleeping a lot lately - probably making up for all the
sleep he's lost in the last several weeks.
Myn Donos: -=nods=- Sleep is good. -=shudders=- I'm afraid to know
what he's been dreaming while he's been sleeping.
Hobbie Klivian: yeah....
Myn Donos: I know the ones I had after Shiner had been killed were
horrible. -=shudders again=-
Hobbie Klivian: -=nods=- so, like I said earlier...
time may be the best thing for the moment. and being there.
Myn Donos: I still think we might need to include Feni on this. She's
his friend also. Be nice to get Wedge and
Tych, but sith knows where they are.
Hobbie Klivian: However - as extroverted as he is,
Wes is a private man. I don't think going around talking about his past
is going to help him any. I shouldn't have said anything as it is.
True, but Wedge is off on his second
childhoodlike honeymoon, and Tycho....-=shrugs=- probably the same.

might get a paragraph or two in my autobiography if I ever decide to write

he thinks I'm doing a half-near decent job in his absence.

Hobbie Klivian: Whatever he would be thinking, he'd
likely keep his thoughts on that to himself.
Myn Donos: Except maybe to you. Have you ever bothered
wondering how much it might hurt Doc to not be around you?
Hobbie Klivian: That is none of your business, Donos.

Hobbie Klivian: I'm afraid that's not possible, I
really need to get this work done.
