Physical Description: Height 5'3".
Dirty blonde hair, pale complexion. Red eyes (due to radiation poisoning
suffered from the imperial prisoner convoy attack). Looks more like
he?s 14 or 13.
History: Just like every other event in his life,
Kariadlan Drem found his way into the New Republic by chance. Born
on Lorrd, he was traveling with his family when his parents and sister
were killed in an encounter with pirates on the planet Toprawa. He
was seven years old at the time. Left for dead by the pirates, he
was quickly found and taken under the care of a geurilla faction, one
of many, in opposition of imperial rule on Toprawa. There, he was taught
many of the combat and survival skills necessary to stay alive and
fight in woodlands of Toprawa, and earned his keep by serving as a scout/sniper.
At the age of 15, he was apprehended by imperial forces
and transported offworld on the imperial prisoner transport Icarus.
This ship, as well as the others that made up the imperial convoy,
fell under attack and were destroyed en-route by an unknown military
force. New Republic starfighter patrols stumbled upon the wreckage.
Kar Drem managed to survive, suffering only a few minor injuries.
In person, Kar remains generally emotionless, seemingly
content with his own thoughts and keeping to himself. Off duty, he
normally wears dark green pants with a pair of combat boots, and a
black form-fitting t-shirt under a pre-NR era rebel trooper blast
vest. He always carries a set of thermal/light amplification goggles
around his neck, a set of specially treated imperial concussion grenades
(flash only; minimal concussion and noise effects), and his precision
rifle Cortana; a modified Blastech A295 blaster rifle (named after
his sister).
