Dana Hogan
The circumstances of Dana's birth were rather odd. Her father worked
for the Empire as an upper eschelon engineer, and while he did so,
her mother used to travel. She was born on a ship in the Nal Hutta
system just above Nar Shaada. When she was old enough, she joined the
1337th Tactical Recon/Assault Group of the Empire, flying TIE Interceptors,
and Xg-1's. Along with flying, she was primarily responsible for engine
maintanence with her squadron. Each pilot, all feminine, had a different
area of expertise.
During one mission, she took a lucky hit, and had to eject before an asteroid
caused severe deceleration trauma. She was lost, and presumed dead.
After this, she went freeballing. She worked as a mercenary some,
as well as flying a swoop race here and there for money. She also
did a lot of work for Imperials who wanted non-standard fighters.
During one low point in her career, and down on her luck, she ran into
Tycho and Wedge. They'd heard from others in the area of her skill
as a pilot, and hired her on as a Rogue when their numbers were down.
She managed to prove herself on her first mission by vaping two TIE Interceptors,
without targeting them, simply blind fire.
For a short time she went AWOL, but she returned and the Rogues accepted
her back into their fold.
She is in a serious relationship with Gavin Darklighter - Love at first
sight does strange things to a person intent on doing things on their own.
As a hobby, she collects models and stats on Imperial craft, the better
to understand the coming opposition.
