Paganism Vs. Wicca
What is the difference between Paganism and Wicca? That is a good question! The difference
in these two earth-based religions is that Paganism has a different array of powers they
woship and they have a natural structure as to what they believe. Wicca on the otherhand is
a Neo-Pagan religion that uses a matriarch-like structure of belief. They worship goddesses
and they practice in magick by using herbs and many eath-based relics. Also Wiccans have the belief that whatever energy you use in their magick comes back threefold. Pagans however do not see it as that way. Paganism in the practice of the spirit, mind, and soul, while Wicca is the practice of earth-based magick. To me I think Wicca has become too much of a rebellious trend rather than a true religion. I do
know a few people who are Wicca and do not abuse it as a trend. Religion should not be
abused or used as a way of getting back or someone or used to fit in a crowd. Your religion
should be something you feel comfortable with.
