These are the various deities worshipped in Det Sort Fist. Each deity plays a role in our religion and does you god(s), goddesses, energies, or spirits do. They are vital in our religions and something to look to with complete respect and awe at all times. DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT ever blame your deity just because something didn't go your way. They do not choose what happens to you, but instead give you spiritual advice to get you own your feet.
These first set of deities are what we Norsk Pagans call the Aesir, which derives from the Scandinavian word 'Ase' which means 'God'. The Aesir gods were the warrior gods that lived in Asgard, which is a realm that lies on the top of the Ashen Tree, Yggdrasil.
Fjorgyn- The symbol of Earth. Wife to Odin and Mother to Thor.
Forseti- God of Justice. Son of Baldr (Baldure) and Nanna.
Heimdall- God of Light and the guardian of Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge.
Loki- The God of Deceit and Secret. Son of the Giant Farbauti and Giantess Lafey.
Magni- God of Might and Power.
Odin- God of War and Death, The All-Father, Theky-Cloaked Wanderer, and Fjolnir.
Thor- God of War and Thunder. Son of Odin and Jord.
Tyr- God of War and Justice, The One-handed Judge, and The Sword-God.
Vidar- God of Silence and son of Odin and Giantess Gridr.
These deities are the Vanir, which comes from the Norsk word 'Vinr' which means 'Friend'. These Gods lived in the wild of nature and revered as fertility Gods that brought health, youth, fertility, and luck.
Aegir- God of the Sea.
Freya- Goddess of Beauty and Chief of the Valkyries. She is the sister of Freyr.
Freyr- God of Agriculture and Elves. Freyr is the brother of Freya.
Idunna- Goddess of Youth and the representation of our earth.
Ostara- Goddess of Fertility and new life. Ostara is the Patroness of spring and for whom the holiday Easter is derived from.
Ran- Goddess of the Sea and consort of Aegir.
Here's two deities that are neither Aesir or Vanir.
Hel- Daughter of Loki, she rules Nifelheim (The Underworld) and is the bringer of death.
The Norns- The Ladies of the Ashen Tree, Yggdrasil. They each represent a cycle of life. One appears as a young, youthful teenager. The Second appears as a matured and beautiful woman. The last one appears as a old, wise, and aged woman.
This last segment of deities are the Gods of Legend. These deities do not have any ethnic religious ties for they are beings of the ethereal plane and are of raw power.
Khorne- The God of Blood, Death, Strength, and War. Khorne is a God that represents a large figure cladded in bronze armor with two large bat-like wings and carries a massive double-bladed axe.
Slaanesh- The God of Secrets, Knowledge, and Forbidden Lust. Slaanesh can assume any form as it desire, but is represented as a hermaphrodite with four arms and a faceless head.
These are the Gods that play an important role in Det Sort Fist, we do worship all the Norsk gods and we always will.
