Heartbreak Towing was purchased by Larry Hausser and John Hulbert on March 17, 1995. The company has been in business in the Bolingbrook area since 1973.
Services provided by the company are light and medium duty towing, tire changes, lockout service and recovery. We currently have 6 recovery vehicles, 3 wheel lift-boom trucks and 3 rollback 2 car haulers. We provide recovery for 4 Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the area.
We were approached by Sgt. Michael Johnstone of the Bolingbrook Police Department regarding the formation of a racing team that would show children and young adults that there are alternatives to drugs, gangs, alcohol and violence. When he presented his idea to us, we were more than happy to get involved in a program of this nature.
It is very encouraging and exciting to know that our local Law Enforcement wants to be involved in the community like this. We are proud of our affiliation with this program and what it is doing, and encourage other Police Departments to become involved in such a way!
