FAMILY TIES - Videodrone Rope KoRn Singer In New Clip

In early Dec., death-funksters Videodrone lensed the video for “Tie Jonathan Down,”* with Korn frontman and Elementree Records executive Jonathan Davis on hand. In the Nathan Cox - directed video, Davis and lead singer Ty Elam are held hostage a la Reservoir Dogs, and get abused at the hands of Davis’ real-life bodyguard and his friend. “[The video] is a metaphor for how people beat themselves up over the things they feel inside,” says Elam. At presstime, the band had been offered support slots on both Coal Chamber’s and Korn’s winter tours. Videodrone’s second Elementree album is slated for a late-summer release.
