Nick plays Ryan in this episode. The Sliders travel to a parallel dimension, which at first glance seems like paradise. Everyone is encouraged to play the lottery and winners are treated like royalty and given anything they want. But when Wade wins, she discovers that there is always a price to pay - in this case, the ultimate price. When they do slide out, they take Ryan with them.

The Sliders look for a doctor to help Quinn (he got shot sliding out of the "lottery world") and discover that they are in a world of witchcraft. Quinn is treated by a witch doctor but when the group tries to leave without paying the bill, they are visited by "grim reapers" who demand payment in the form of Quinn's brain. Unfortunatly, Nick is only in Quinn's "funeral" dream at the beginning, then he leaves.
