Once A Thief is an Alliance's new prime-time series from top action filmmaker, John Woo. Based on the critically-acclaimed 5-hour movie, John Woo's Once A Thief: The Series, made its world on the CTV Television Network Monday September 15, 1997. The show was supposingly a seriese of 22 one-hour adventure; however, after airing first nine dinamic episodes, the show was put on hiatus for a while despite the show had a terrific opening night with 1.1 million viewers. But don't worry, Once A Thief, although temporarily removed from their schedule, returned on TV, starting on Suturday, in January 17, 1998!

Unfortunately John Woo's Once A Thief was officially cancelled, after being aired all the 22 episodes, (but it re-runs on CTV as of May 9, 1998,) despite the show had a terrific opening night with 1.1 million viewers and was eventually getting mainstream viewers' energitic support, they have no plans for the second season. We really miss those mighty gorgeous thieves' adventure!
