Well, I've had a few months to think about this... not that I was procrastinating or anything, because we all know I would never do that... and I've come up with several more fics that by all rights should be required reading. (Or are, at least, very damned good. *purr*)

I love my Rhiannon, I truly do. Only a twisted mind like hers could write Langiappe, a happy little Undertaker/X-Pac PWP that turns fandom conventions on its head and keep all the respective boys in character. If you've never experienced the Superdom... well. Experience it now. Run, don't walk. (And before you ask, yes, I am going to rec everything on her page. And then I'm going to harass her until she puts up more. Shh, don't tell.)

Another on the list of my revered goddesses of the written word: Carol. Incredibly nice, patient, helpful and humble for no real reason because her writing is so bloody fantastic it'll make you forget to breathe. You feel everything the characters are feeling, from despair to helpfulness to arousal to love, and she will run you through the gamut. A good example of this at work is Waiting for Time, a Kliq fic about sex and comfort, friendship and maturity, and all the things between. For someone who claims not to have a Shawn muse, Cari's is one of the most realistic I've read yet.

I'll admit it; I'm a schmoop junkie. Especially when it comes to my chosen boys, the Outlaws. As much fun as watching them torture and comfort each other in cycles is, every once in a great while it's nice to see something... well, sweet. Mynx's Second Chances fulfills that quite well. Set after Jesse's release from the company, it makes Jesse vulnerable with leaving him a victim, and characterizes both of the Outlaws along the way in a few graceful sentences that say everything without being distracting. Go forth and read, my padawans.
