Vanishing Details by Luke McGill

Sweet memories, Color slips to gray

Just left are the feelings

Reasons slip away

Remembering, Just staring at the ceilings

Can't remember the color of the eyes

The texture of skin

Though the detail dies

The feelings stick within

Slip ups

Big and Bad mistakes

After the clean ups

Remain the feeling of the heartaches

The dearly departed

Those who moved away

The feelings are deep hearted

And can be reviewed another day

Can barely know names

Barely remember faces

But feelings stay in our frame

To the desert, This life, Our oasis
