BARTHOLOMEW
He was introduced to Jesus by Philip. Some believe that it was through him that Jesus came to the wedding feast.
He preached the Gospel in many countries, but mostly in India, Armenia, and Ethiopia.
He was beaten and crucified, and afterwards beheaded in Albanopolis, Armenia. One tradition states
that he was flayed alive and then crucified head downward in the same location, in AD 68.
