Reflections of Prayer & Faith
Can you think of a time when God answered a prayer for you? How did it change your life?
Please take a few minutes and read James 5:12-20.... then answer these questions.
1-What advice did James offer to the sick or troubled?
2-How does prayer make a difference in a christains life?
3-What steps can we take to recieve God's healing?
4- What kind of prayer makes things happen?
You know, no matter where we might be in our life, God is as close as the mention of His name. Close as a prayer.God is our strength and our support. Even in sitting still God is our strength. The bible says "Be still, and know that I am God"(Psalm46:10). It is our human nature when somethin happens in our life to take action, make a move do something. Often times it is much better to wait and just be still. The answers we need will come. His answer maybe yes or it maybe no. Or it could be wait.God will always answer our prayers in His way and in His will for us. Lets face it, God does know best for all of us. Rest assured He will not let us down in our time of need. Answer these questions:
1-What keeps people from turning to God in prayer?
2-Has there ever been a time that it was difficult for you to accept God's answer to your prayer?
3-How can you become more patient in your prayer life?
