Let's Talk About Faith

The apostles came up and said to the master,"give us more faith". But He said to them you don't need more faith.There is no more or less faith. If you have a kernal of faith say the size of a little poppy seed, you could say to this sycamore tree -Go jump in the lake and it would do it.

Now you need to read Luke 17:5-6

The bible tells us;Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

It is a fact of existence that this trust in God-this faith in God-is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our way of taking hold to something we can't see.

I believe sometimes we think we don't have faith enough, to see God move.

The problem might be that our faith account could be running low. I pray each day for faith and wisdom.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.Hebrews 12:2 You know had we been the only one... Jesus still would have went to the cross called calvary to die there just for us. What a Awesome Jesus! What a Wonderful Father! What a unchanging ,everlasting best friend.Praise The Lord!

We must exercise our faith.We need to train and develop faith in our walk with God.In doing this we increase our faith.Its not that we are givin more faith but our faith is increased.So lets start today to exercise our faith.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you,That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea: and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye recieve them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:22-24

Faith and Doubt don't mix.......
(For we walk by faith, not by sight) 2 Corinthians 5:7 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6.

No matter what you are going thru or facing in the days ahead,I challenge you to take ahold of that unchanging hand, to the one who is the same yesterday-today and forever.He calls your last shot........Let Him Call ALL YOUR SHOTS!

Take ahold of your faith that is your trust in God....trust Him, He will bring you thru. That the trial of your faith being more precious than gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
