Building A Bridge to a Heart

Have you ever took a moment and thought what life would be like if there were no bridges? What is a bridge? The dictionary defines it as this; a structure providing passage over a waterway or obstacle. A connection or link. Now if we didn't have bridges it would be kinda hard to get to the other side, would'nt it....

In our walk with God we need to learn to build bridges to others hearts. Sometimes in life we meet people that are difficult to reach, but if we reach out in love we can build a bridge to their heart. When the Holy Spirit is speaking to us, alot of times we try to use all kinds of excuses...Like you gotta be kiddin God, or I thought God....Or God what about my problems......or God look at my schedule. But lets look at what Hebrews 10:24 says: Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds.

So we need to build a bridge to a heart by understanding each other and to ask God to show us how to build a bridge to a heart. In James 1:22 the word tells us:Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. When we look at Hebrews 10:24 - God is teaching us to serve others, by building a bridge to a heart. If we will build a bridge Jesus will walk over it with us.

There is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5

You know people don't give a flip about how much you know.....but they do when they see how much you really care. Then they will take time to listen. By showing them you care, by building a bridge to a heart, then you gain the right to share your faith. Just in case you forgot, we are in this for The Glory Of God, winning the lost at any cost. As we build that bridge or make that connection we can let others know what Jesus means in our life and how He can change a life. That bridge you build to a heart can mean heaven or hell......

Jesus was the greatest bridge builder ever. Jesus is our model. As you ponder today on Building a Bridge To A Heart think on how Jesus did it.......

The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28

To Build A Bridge To Hearts we must win to seek hearts.......

Begin today : Building A Bridge To A Heart. Prayerfully seek to share Jesus with others. Pray for wisdom and courage to build bridges. Through the eyes of Jesus you can see potential in others you meet who are waiting for that bridge to be built, those who are waiting to be loved and encouraged.

Charity suffereth long, and it is kind: charity envieth not: charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil: Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth: Beareth all things believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
