The President of the United States

Grade level:3-8

Objective: Students will learn who the president of the United States is by reading his biography on the internet and answer questions.

 

Materials required: Internet and Microsoft Word.

 

Activity: Student should read, on the Internet, President Clinton's biography and see pictures of the president. Also read about the first family.

 

Questions for student to answer, using Microsoft Word, after reading links:

  1. What is the president's name?
  2. Where is he from?
  3. What did he do before becoming president?
  4. How did he become president?
  5. What does the first family do every Thanksgiving?
  6. Who is the first lady of the United States?
  7. What does Hillary Clinton find time to do?
  8. What is the name of the cat?
  9. What does the President do to relax?

10. Would you like to become president of the United States someday?

Why or why not?
