What A Pair!
Hi, my name is Saundra Da-Col. I was born 1/13/62 which makes me almost 38 yrs old. I am married to a Navy man, who is in the Navy band at the Naval Academy here in Annapolis, MD. I have 3 kids; Trent 19 and in the Navy, Kassie 16, and Eric 12 and all boy! My furbabies are Ralph, lbd, a little over 2 yrs old and Reggie his little wheaten half brother who is 8 months old. They have the same dad. These guys make coming home from work each day a real treat. I would like to tell you how I came to get my first scottie, Ralph. If you are in the military, you move around a lot. Our last duty station was Hawaii. There we had the most wonderful lab in the whole world and two psyco cats. On the day we were to fly out, we found out there was a heat restriction in Texas which was our layover stop. So this meant our babies couldn't go with us. Everyone wanted our lab so she went to live with friends on the island that have spoiled her even more than we did, along with the cats. After the cry fest, we arrived in MD. Well, here you have to have your own washer & dryer. I answered an ad in the paper about a dryer for sale, got to talking to the lady and told her about having to leave our girl in Hawaii and she said she had one Scottie puppy left if I would like to look at him when I came to see the dryer. So I came home with a dryer and a sweet 4 month old little black Scottie pup and he has been the light of our life since. Ralph is one of thhe smartest dogs I have ever seen, he is great at Earthdog and Agility. Reggie on the other hand is all looks! We call him the dumb blond. He is smart, just not as smart as his brother. Which means Ralph got his brains from his mom, because their Dad is drop dead gorgeous but no brains in his pretty head. I wouldn't trade Reggie for the world, I got just what I wanted from the breeding. His daddy's good looks and his mom's sweet nature. See, I waited for this breeding because I love both parents, grandma, great grandma and am very lucky to be able to be close and know so many of their kin. You can tell how I feel about them just by going to my photo albums. Which I will be happy to give you the address to get there. Anyway, we are really from Texas. Born in Houston, raised in Temple, and last called Dallas home and still do. I manage a Subway Sandwich Shop here on base and have been doing management for the last 12 yrs except for this past summer when I took a break and went to work at a boarding kennel. So there you have it, more then you ever wanted to know about me and my family.
