Fate Syncronicity & Following your Heart

I met my husband in a chat room (ISUR). Fate, synchronicity and following your heart is how we choose to describe it. We also feel that my sister Kathleen (who passed away in 1986), and his mother (who passed away in 1997), had something to do with it. The internet made it possible. My sister died of carbon monoxide poisoning while taking a shower from an improperly installed hot water heater, she was 17 and I was 22. We were very close. We had a mutual admiration for each other and I was devasted by her death. I had been told by two psychics that my first born would be her spirit. I had been in a relationship with a man who did not want to have any children with me. I was torn by this and spent many nights asking myself if I would be happy not having any children. I am a nurse and spent eight years in college working on my bachelors degree. We were required to get an email address at school for list serv assignments and also encouraged to use the internet for searching nursing related topics. This is how and where I got started on the internet. I have always been interested in ufo's and even wrote a paper on the subject for an english class. I was always the only one among my friends who believed in aliens, abductions, etc. It was even a joke to some. It was great to go to a ufo chat room and meet others who felt as I did. One night someone came in using the handle NeonKnight. NeonKnight is a title of a song written by Ronnie James Dio when he was with Black Sabbath. My sister who died LOVED Dio. She was a member of his fan club, had every album he was ever on and saw him in concert at least twice. So, I type in 'NeonKnight as in Dio' and he responded 'you mean my former employer'. My hair stood up and I felt my sisters presence. Neon had been Dio's guitar player and my sister even saw him perform. This was just our introduction and months went by before we started e-mailing and realized our feelings for each other. When we did it was very powerful and decisions were made quickly, perhaps too quickly, but we have no regrets. We can talk without saying a word. Thats how in tune we are with each others thoughts. We have so many similarities its scary. It's as if we are twin souls. I personally feel that my sister got tired of waiting for me and thought she would help speed things up a little. I think if she had any influence at all she would be pleased with my choice. Since we met I have felt her presence and spirit more than anytime since her death. Even if our daughter Catherine does not possess my sisters spirit, the arousal of fond memories and love for her are rebirth enough for me. A great way to keep a spirit alive. As for my husband, he was grieving over the recent death of his mother (Catherine) when we met. He tells me that if his mother had hand picked a wife for him, it would be me. She held nurses in the highest esteem and I was Irish, also a plus. When her namesake was born, the first thing he said was "OH my God, she looks just like my mother." What better way to begin a life by keeping two alive. The two people that we missed the most are with us everyday in our beautiful little girl. Not to mention our love for each other which happens to be something we both thought was too good to be true. Could this just be coincidence? Or more like fate, synchronicity and following your heart. "And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make". Lennon & McCartney
