Engine Swap

In the spring of 2000, I ran accross a mustang about 93 or so, that I decided to race, even though I had a stock rs I figured why not? Well to my surprise I stayed even with him to about third gear when my trans sliped and my motor freereved up to about 7 grand on a 120,000 mile motor. Which made me worry for several reasons. My first reason was that I just blew a trans, my second is I just reved my motor that high which means all my oil shot from the pan all the way to the top. Plus when I got home I checked my oil, I was about 2 quarts down. Well about 3 weeks later it developed a rodknock, so in the summer of 2000, I had to pull this pig out. Me and my freinds guessed it was the first cylinder because thats the last cylinder that gets oil, and sure enough it was. So my freind paul whos dad owns a local marine called Rentner Marine, hooked me up with a 96 350 marine motor with about 40 hours on it for 500 bucks. They also let me do the whole motor swap at the marine, what a bunch of great guys. My friend Johny helped me rebuild the motor, basically a stock 350 with a comps cam. I also want to thank chris and paul for helping hauling parts back and forth, and helping the disassembling of the motor and accessories and reassembling them as well. Also thanks to all the help of Rentner marine Russel, Eric, Bert. (Al) Here are some pictures of the motor swap and the final product.
