Something Beautiful
On our main page we say we’re Christians.You ask us what we are, we say Christian. Ok… Now what does that mean? Well if someone is a “Christian” doesn’t mean that he’s now sinless, perfect people (the scripture says there was only one perfect Man that walked the earth – that’s another story). It simply means that he’s forgiven for his sins. And he’s going to Heaven for it. A lot of people think, “If there is a Heaven, then I’ll worry about that stuff when I’m old and dying.” Well let me tell you something… Not everybody lives to be 85-90 years old. You might be thinking, “what are the chances that I die young?” Well, in honesty they aren’t that great but they are increasing everyday. The world’s becoming less safe to live in and people need to realize that there’s more to “life” than what we see here.
My friends, many many years ago God created everything we can and cannot see around us. And yes, He even created you. It’s a solid fact, but for some reason or another, people began to pretend that they’re the greatest beings; that they are the superior ones and there is nothing else to life; that there is no God. Well, people can believe whatever they’d like to but the truth remains: there is a God.
Now getting back to what I was saying in the first paragraph, some of us have shortened lives… My point: we need to understand that God is there and believe in Him while we’re still alive on this earth. You’ll notice that I said “on this earth.” That’s exactly it. After this world, everyone goes to one of two places: Heaven or Hell. You may not believe that, but I promise you it’s the truth. I can’t say it any other way. Well here, look around your room, what do you see? Maybe a lamp, couch, chair, some random papers? Well go up to them and touch them. They’re there right? You can see them and feel them right? You can believe all you want that they aren’t there but the truth is, they are! God’s just like that. He’s there no matter what we believe. Well, you might be saying “well can we see or feel God?” The answer is obviously no. Only a few great men have gotten to walk w/ God on this earth. A lot of people must see things to believe. Well I tell you the truth: one never sees until he believes.
What is a Christian? One who believes in God and KNOWS that if they were to die this very instant, they’d go straight to Heaven. How does that person obtain such assurance? Accepting Jesus. Ok don’t freak out when the word “Jesus” comes up. (I know a lot of us do that). What does “accepting Jesus mean?” He died for us on the cross. Believe that. That’s all it means. He DIED for us. Think about that for a second… Ok now put your name in place of “us”. It’s true. He died for you. He died for me. He gets us to Heaven. That’s what 6 Inch Voices stands for now. We have no ego, and we aren’t at all trying to make this sound like we’ve got supernatural powers or anything. We’ve just experienced something beautiful between God and ourselves and we want you to experience the same thing.
