Thoughts on each character in the King of Fighters
Here, I will go into detail about each individual fighter and will give my personal opinion. (from the vantage point of Iori of course. =P)

Team Japan
Kyo Kusanagi: Kyo...my hatred of him knows no bounds. His attitude makes me want to take him in my hands and crush him until he simply surrenders and dies. I want my fingers to rip his chest apart, and to taste his blood on my fingers, knowing that I am responsible for his final, dying moments.
Benimaru Nikaido: Kyo's partner, friend, and rival. His power is a sight to behold, yet he fights with restraint. Second only to Kyo,(god do I hate that name), his speed, agility, and grace are amazing. His ego, however, may one day become his own undoing. We will see what the future holds in sotre for him
Goro Daimon: The third member of the so called "Hero team". A judo champion, Goro's strength is nearly unrivaled. While slow, his strength makes up for his power. He is an honorable warrior, and should never be underestimated.

Team Fatal Fury
Terry Bogard: The elder of the Bogard brothers, Terry is quick to move and is surprisingly strong. Possibly one of the best fighters in the tournament, Terry is a proud warrior. A wanderer of sorts, Terry never settles down and will at times, wander, fighting to keep his edge. He and his brother Andy are often testing the limits of their skills, and will often come out the victor. Terry seems to have a deep hatred of Geese Howard, the infamous Southtown crime lord.
Andy Bogard: The younger of the Bogard brothers. Andy is quick to attack, but his attacks are rash at times and ill thought out. An accomplished fighter himself, Andy studied under the Shiranui ninja and is involved with the girl, Mai. His emotions are quick to be tempered, and that may prove to be his greatest enemy, which explains why his fights with Terry tend to end up in losses. Once he becomes master of himself and his hatred of Geese Howard, he will be one of the most powerful fighters to live.
Joe Higashi: The Muay-Thai champion. Although an excellent fighter, Joe's ego has landed him in trouble on countless occasions. Seemingly a laughable fighter, once he begins the fight, he does not stop until someone is declared a victor. However, his tendency to slack off during the fight makes him reckless, which can be exploited. One day, he will learn...

Team Sakazaki a.k.a. Art of Fighting
Ryo Sakazaki: The son of Takuma Sakazaki. He is strong physically, and mentally. He shows great brotherly love for his sister Yuri, and a close bond with Robert Garcia. his techniques are powerful, which is expected from the Sakazaki dojo. He, however, reminds me another fighter...one I can't place my finger on...
Robert Garcia: Ryo's best friend and close friend of Yuri. His techniques, for the most part, mirror those of Ryo, with the exception that he tends to use more of his leg strength. A flambouyant fighter, Robert enjoys the fight, but like Ryo, hates training. Pity, he could be much more...
Yuri Sakazaki: Ryo's younger sister. She was once kidnapped by Mr. Big, only to be rescued by her Ryo and her boyfriend, Robert. Although expressing an interest in teaming with them, she was denied the opportunity by Takuma who participated in the contest himself. She joined with Mai and King in the 95 tournament, and now is fighting with her desired team. Her ability is considerable, but at times, leaves her vulnerable to counters.

Team Ikari
Ralf Jones: A soldier with the skills to become a formidable warrior. Ralf fights relentlessly, and with great ability. Stubborn in his ways, Ralf and his teammate Clark Steel together are a team to be careful with.
Clark Steel: The more quiet member of the pair, Clark's skills are very similar to those of Ralf. Although not very outspoken, Clark will render a fighter apart if the opportunity presents itself. Both he and Ralf, however, watch out for their 'sister', Leona.
Leona: Not much is known about this curious woman. Her blue hair stands out, as well as her physique. VERY quick on her feet, Leona shows great potential. She was found wandering some ruins by Heidern, the group's military leader, and was taken and trained in their ways. However, Leona's ki is greater than those of her teammates. It's almost something...familiar...

Team Psycho Soldiers
Chin Gentsai: THE eldest of the team, Chin fights in the style known commonly as the 'Drunken Master'. One must wonder what he spends more time doing, training, or drinking sake. Nonetheless, his fighting skills reflect decades (centuries, he looks old enough) of intensive training. He is the master of his teammates, Sie Kensou, and Athena Asamiya.
Sie Kensou: The headstrong teenager who loves a good fight as well as a good meal. Sie can fight with the best of the tournament toe to toe. He is infatuated with his love for his teammate, Athena. Kensou, like the Sakazaki team, hates training, unless it involves Athena training with him. Unless he fights with more intensity, he will always be overshadowed by Athena.
Athena Asamiya: The female of the team, Athena is much stronger mentally than she is physically. Her attacks are very quick, but not overly strong. It can be difficult fighting her at times because her voice is so high pitched...nevertheless, she is still a good opponent. From what I understand, she is a singer as well, we'll just see if she fights as well as she uses her vocal cords.

Team Kagura
Chizuru Kagura: The person responsible for the tournament in 1996. Chizuru entered in 1997 to test her ability as a fighter. Like Leona, there is something very...familiar about her. She has joined with Mai and King to form a new team. We will just have to see how high her fighting ability truly is.
Mai Shiranui: The noisy ninja of the group, Mai's biggest...uh...asset seems to be her personality. It is hard to imagine that she is a fighter of great skill and ability. Her love of Andy Bogard is no secret as well. Apparently, she enjoys drinking sake very, very, much. Does this say something about her personality?
King: The fighter from France, King is one to be careful of. Her power from her legs is dangerous. Nothing less expected from a former bouncer. She has had encounters with Ryo and Robert, working for Mr. Big when Yuri was kidnapped. She now owns a bar called Illusion where she is, not surprisingly, the bartender. Not the kind of bar one goes to for a fight.

Team Korea
Kim Kaphwan: The powerful leader of the team, he utilizes his Tae Kwon Do skills to the fullest extent. Kim fights for his ideal of 'justice' and will beat the hell out of anyone who he sees doing 'wrong'. A hero of sorts, he recruited his teammates when he saw that they were criminals and decided to 'reform' them. Kim is also good friends with Terry Bogard, having lost to him in a fight, and takes much pride in his ability.
Choi Bounge: The small, scrappy fighter of the team, Choi fights with claws on his hands to help his ability. A very agile fighter, Choi is very quick and will surprise you with his techniques. He is a reluctant fighter under Kim's harsh training, and dreams of the day that he will be released from his burden...a.k.a. Kim
Chang Koehan: The opposite of Choi, Chang is a VERY large man who fights with an iron ball and chain. Extremely slow, his strength more than makes up for his speed. He, just like Choi, was 'recruited' by Kim to fight until they reform from their criminal backgrounds.

Team Yamazaki
Ryuji Yamazaki: The street brawling gangster, Ryuji has a lust for blood stronger than most. He is a cold, heartless fighter who is "in it for the money". He could not care less for the tournament, had it not been for the fact that Geese Howard offered him a huge sum for winning the tournament. A very powerful man, Ryuiji is a force to be reckoned with
Billy Kane: The Englishman who speaks loudly and carries a very big stick. Billy is the right hand man of Geese Howard. He fights only under orders from Geese to watch Ryuji's skills. Billy has had run-ins with the Bogard brothers, only to be beaten time and again. Perhaps if he just kept his annoying mouth shut...
Blue Mary: The odd member of this team, Blue Mary seems to have joined the tournament for a different reason other than fame and glory. It could be me, but she seems to be following the movements of the gangster, Ryuji Yamazaki, just like Billy. She, like the other females of this game, is quick to move, but her techniques lack power. A seemingl cheerful girl, there is a side to her that is of a cold hearted warrior. She is involved with Terry Bogard, having met him in Southtown.

The Newface Team
Yashiro Nanakase: The leader of a new band, Yashiro is an arrogant, cocky fighter. He is, however, a powerful fighter as well, so it is debatable whether his ego is well warranted. His teammates, Chris and Shermie, are members of his band as well, but it seems he has a personal vendetta against me. When I see their team, the term "orochi" comes to mind...why?
Chris: The child of the group, Chris' skills are not to be underestimated. He fights with great intensity and the skills of a great warrior. Could it be this "child" is much more than he seems...we'll see
Shermie: A woman of talent, beauty, and finesse. It seems she is a very good fighter as well. She seems to have some relationship with Yashiro, but I care not. Although I'm not too sure why, this entire team seems to emanate great power spiritually...hmmm...

Team Yagami

Myself
Mature: The blonde fighter of the team. She was the personal secretary of Rugal, the man responsible for the tournaments in 1994, and 1995. Mature's strengths are in her ability to strike quickly, and at several times in one blow. She is, apparently, responsible, for the brainwashing of Saishu Kusanagi. She, and Vice joined me in the tournament in 1996, but when the tournament concluded, I'm not certain what happened to either of them. Killed perhaps?
Vice: The other secretary of Rugal, Vice's personal interests seem to coincide with my own, in that she has a hatred for the Kusanagi clan. Unlike Mature, Vice is a more powerful fighter of the two. I'm not certain what, but there's something about these two women that made me cautious. It is of no concern any longer...

Team Oyaji
Takuma Sakazaki: The father of Ryo and Yuri, Takuma is a proud fighter. His skills are quite formidable and are a sight to behold. He loves to train, and thus, forces his children to do the same. He was once called Mr. Karate when captured by a southtown crimelord and braiwashed into kidnapping his daughter. Hmmph, a powerful fighter, but not so strong mentally...
Heidern: A military warrior on a mission of vengeance. His hatred of Rugal is no secret, as well as his prowess as a warrior. He is resonsible for Leona, whom he found sitting amidst a pile of rubble and for her training as a fighter. He will, however, remain as cold as he is now, having lost his family to Rugal and with his souvneir, a lost eye, courtesy of Bernstein.
Saishu Kusanagi: The father of my most hated foe, Kyo. Saishu left his family to pursue his training and for other reasons I myself am not aware of. He was brainwashed by Rugal and fought his own son, only to be awakened. A skilled fighter, Saishu remembered me at first glance, commenting on my growth. I live for the day that I will ram those words right down his throat.

Individual
Shingo Yabuki: The laughable student and protege of Kyo. I admire him for his constant training and his desire to fight like his idol. However, I find it disgusting that he would choose Kyo of all fighters...hmmph, I only want to see his face when I tear Kyo from limb to limb before his very eyes.

I will add more later when I feel like it. If I have forgotten any characters or if you feel/know that something's wrong, let me know...thanks~ =)
